    Confirmed.

Wisp receives one fate point for portrayal of Arrogant Ambition.

Do I get any modifiers on my roll? 4U1+X, but I'm using my power, which gives me a modifier based on discipline? I'm not too certain.

@Ashan: Depends on what you're trying to do. If it's related to Geology you get a bonus from your stunt. If you're trying to gain some insight into what's in the Vault or the other rooms you'll be working with your base Investigation. Supernatural Sense doesn't give you any bonuses; it just allows you to do things that you otherwise wouldn't be able to.

I think I would serve the group best if I were to start reaching out to the Gooners, or my contracts within them. We wait until this is finished?

Well, the way I see you, you've got two options to pick from, you can either go the safe path and set up the Gooners distraction, ooooor you can take a risk and try to find out more about possible capes that the casino could have working for them. This would have the biggest payoff since it could help us plan around it, but well, it's also risky as you asking questions may set off alarms if we're really unlucky, or the information you get may be wrong, causing us to make bad decisions.

Either way, you'll probably have to wait a bit since Aek's asleep and he has work tomorrow, so it'll be a while until he'll be able to post. Although he should be able to run your shit at the same time as the rest of us do our thing, I know he's had to handle more shit at once in previous games :p

@Nemrut: I'll set up a side quest thread for you.

@Everyone: I think I've mentioned this before, but we're using this first session basically as a tutorial on how things work, so you're free to change character powers/stunts/skills if you want. Just give me a heads up first and we'll see how to work it. Rolls made before changes still stand though and if anyone tries to change skills around just so they can get a bonus on one roll, I will be very annoyed.

For example, Ashan could really do with some Investigation skills if he's going to be using his power to, well, investigate stuff. Hint hint.

I'll take you up on that and drop Capes (+2) for Investigation (+2), if you don't mind. Also will be spending a fate point to bring that investigation up to par. Once you approve either/both, I'll post in the IC thread.

Approved on both. I'll update the blurb on your Investigation results after I get some sleep.

Now you just take a fate point off your character sheet and swap the skills. Then all is good in the world.

Got it; Done. Now just a quick note: Difficulty 6 for fixing the house, where I have nothing to back me up. That effectively mean I don't even want to try. Aek, what's the difficulty if I'm doing temporary reinforcement? Say, steal some concrete/whatever off the sidewalk/surrounding buildings to shore up the edges of the room?

Dude, you're working at +6 for Incite Effect manoeuvres. The power itself gives you a +2 and your base Discipline is +4. Restricted by Craftsmanship gives you a total bonus of +5.

+6 is the difficulty for reinforcing it to the point where you can declare it well and truly safe. If you wanted to go for something more temporary I could drop it down to a +4 and have you replace Uncertain Stability with Haphazard Support, or something like it.

    Final note before sleep.

@Corellon: You don't have any points in Investigation, so when you're rolling that skill you don't add anything to it. You should only have gotten the +2 from Knowledge of the Streets. It doesn't make a difference either way since you'd have gotten that with a 4+ anyway.

@Ashan: Nice roll. The stage now has the aspect Haphazard Support. You can write up the IC stuff if you want. If you want to spend your last fate point to replace it with Sturdy Support Structure, go ahead.

Also, you still need to take a fate point off your tally on the character sheet.

    Aaaaaand sleep time. Later.

SO ANYWAY, may have done some talking with Aek yesterday about an awesome idea I had. Good news everybody, I now kinda own a catering company and you all work for me. The basic idea was that I wanted something that would not only justify me having Resources 2, and as such a constant source of cash to use, but also a way to pay you guys without it looking suspect. It doesn't hurt that the pay doesn't need to be constant since it can be bullshitted by saying that some weeks we're busy, and some days we're not, so it's a pretty convenient way for me being able to pay you guys the money that I've laundered and for you to be able to justify to your families why you've suddenly got money to spend.

Tom works as a chef there, and most of the others probably do part time work there as well. Apart from Jack because he's a cyborg and that kinda stands out, so Tom makes him help out with the managerial side.

You are really mistaking what I look like. My costume is removable, FYI, it's just bonded to my skin and nerves when I use it. With it off, I just look like a pretty average guy. The only Device that stays on me at all times is my Worldkey, which is basically just a surgical scar on the back of my neck.

I could be wrong but I don't think that's how prosthetics work, but fine then, if you want to do grunt work with the rest you can :D. (This may or may not effect your pay)

My tinker power isn't prosthetics, it's Biological Enhancement and Replacement. I could be a cyborg, but I'm not, since the idea of mutilating myself for power isn't that appealing.

    Yet.

Quite like the idea, to be honest. Makes me interested how a business in general is conducted in the world of Worm, what with the Endbringers and Capes running around.

Like, what's the protocol when a Case 53 enters? Do some weird Brutes or Thinkers have really odd orders? What's the insurance like?

Based on new information that Jack isn't apparently an abomination against man and god yet, he's allowed to talk to people. But since he faked his death and stuff, he probably doesn't want to make his face known so we let him help out with the managerial side of things because he's good with numbers. Ege gets to be the people person, I'll go into more details about that and what the others would be good at when it's not 3am. Or maybe you guys can have fun with the idea or something.
