Wait, did Naruto just prevent Gai from dying? If so, :facepalm, god dammit Kishimoto. Besides that, holy shit was Night Moth awesome. It didn't really look like a moth though, more like a dragon.

Narutos only change in this power up is his eyes - so far - ... seems familiar... sure dbz did something like that once.

Gai as far as I'm concerned you won that fight. I'm not feeling bad that he didn't die but I think he should've now Naruto can bring back people from the brink of death.

 

Oh look, a popular good guy uses a technique that's sure to kill him and he gets to live after all. How unexpected.

 

The reason why Naruto's eyes look familiar is that they're the same as they were at the end of his fight with Pain. At the time we thought they were just him combining the kyubi and sage mode. However it looks like it might have been more.

 

That's what it was. This must somehow be different.

 

Obviously Gai is going to live after Naruto heals him. I do wonder how the two will combine against Madara

 

Also, did you notice that the area that Gai took a chunk out of was the area that Hashirama's face used to occupy?

 

Guy, after Jiraiya, is the most consistently badass and inspiring character ever. I don't even care if they bring him back. He's awesome. Too many good characters are gone and too many shitty ones are still around.

 

Good observation. but I was under the impression that Madara had fully merged with Hashirama's chakra after he became the JuMadara. I'm interested to see Naruto and Sasuke new Hax power though.

 

Cruciforms in his eyes and a Stigmata (kinda) in his hand. Naruto is officially Ninja-Jesus.

 

I wonder if any of this damage will stick since Madara can auto heal now.

 

Hmm, Naruto hasn't been as good since Shippuden, and especially since Itachi for me. Although, I must say, Gai's gate of death, was actually quite good...

Puh, for a second, someone in this manga had to live with the consequences of their actions. Bullet fucking dodged.

 

And that about completely sums up why Naruto has devolved into a fucking train wreck. There are -no- consequences. The sense of risk for the story has evaporated. I don't understand how Kishimoto is getting away with this. It's bad story-telling at it's finest.
