Madara must be blind already if he thinks Sasuke has the Rinnegan.

 

I'm guessing Sasuke only has it in his left eye because Madara has it in the right? Not sure exactly why. I thought getting Rinnegan would just be mixing of Uchiha and Senju blood not some esoteric crap.

The normal Rinnegan looks like the Sage's eyes in the previous chapter, and like Nagato's eyes do. Basically just a bunch of circles. Sasukes eye, by contrast, looks like Kaguya's third eye (and the Juubi's eye.)

I think Sasuke actually has something...uh, beyond Rinnegan, I guess?

 

This is what I was getting at. It's not a Rinnegan as they have been described and shown before, but the Juubi's odd tomoe-swirl mixture. Maybe Rinnegan has different levels like Sharingan?

Its a riningan with Tomoes on each line. Maybe its a power up of the normal Riningan. Though this power up just seems weird. I thought the whole point was Hard work vs Getting everything on a silver platter

Its the eye Juubi originally had. A rinnegan-like eye with 9 tomoe. The Juubi Obito resurrected also had this, but that one only had 6 tomoe, presumably because it did not have full Kyuubi and Hachibi.

Its also the eye Kaguya awakened on her forehead after eating that fruit. Curiously, Hagoromo used the term "sharingan" to describe this eye, and he had the rinnegan all his life, so he should know. That might imply that the correct term is actually a 9-tomoe sharingan rather than a rinnegan, and Madara is just ignorant. The term I have used for this eye in the past was sharinnegan.

Is it too much to ask for Naruto to show a little variation with his new found abilities? I'm sure now we'll have spamming clones from different elements each with their own rasengans. Why doesn't a rasengan shred people on a molecular level anymore?(apparently Obito can get stabbed but he'll shrug off a rasengan?)

For all his prankster roots, he is one of the most uncreative characters in the entire series. Plus he still doesn't even know how to form the rasengan correctly.

It also looks like, in addition to the spatial manipulation required by the standard Rasengan, he was able to add not only air but earth and flame as well, which makes it like a triple-S jutsu or something ridiculous like that.
