Well, sure, it's easy to decipher what it actually means, but it's much more amusing to take that poorly constructed summary to the conclusion it superficially implies.

Man I used to love playing games on my Super genesis. But looking back at it now, I know that some will the same and other will not.

 

Man, in England (and everywhere else) it was called the Mega Drive. Get it right, people.

 

The plot sounds horribly cliched, and the first few lines are even worse.

It's like the description of a bad action movie. I am impressed with the length though. More than 25k words in the first chapter.

 

Most people in the US probably haven't even heard the term Mega Drive for the Genesis (since Genesis was written write on the console) and probably haven't even heard of its predecessor the Master System.

 

I think "Mega Drive" was already a copyrighted term in the US at the time, which is why they used Genesis.

 

And then there was the Master Control Program. One Program to rule them all.

 

I remember when people thought Jaguar would rule them all...

 

Pfff. I remember getting Intellivision and thinking the graphics were jaw-dropping good.

"Shezza" is a misleading name.

 

Shezza is a guy. Thats the joke. Is the fic any good? I loved the denarain series. Most awesomest Harry ever written.

 

I didn't read it. I just noticed the Denarian thing, realized that a while back Shezza had some trouble with a plagerizer and was wondering if this was the same fic. Got through those 3 sentences and noped outta the fic pretty quickly.
