Dementors? Just for irony and the fact that they would be one the most feared/hated monsters in the series.

Other than that some of the older mystic creatures of Ancient Egypt, Babylon or India are probably a safe bet. Their folklore is full of bad things that we havens´t seen much of and this prison would be a smart way to explain it.

Finally, I'm starting to feel the hype for this book!

 

Kind of surprised we haven't been getting any Skin Game - pre-release fanfiction.

Oh man, reading this again, that voice, it's GOT to be Merlin.

 

I'm not certain whether it'd count during mental communication, but the English Merlin spoke would be gibberish to Dresden.

Then again, there have been other wardens. Perhaps they've taught him.

 

No Ivy in this book, actually. But compared to the snippets from Cold Days, this is way better as far as I'm concerned.

Sort of a tangent: They're going to Hades, where the mythical Persephone is. Do you think Marcone has any interests regarding Becket's daughter?

No idea how it'd work out, but that might be how Marcone gets involved. Harry also needs to rob a vault on Marcone's turf, so I guess he'll check in with the guy in any case.

Mab's big on being polite, after all.

 

I can't wait. The Maggie/Dresden reunion alone has me shaking and crying. Then there's Nic and Harry working together when the last time they saw each other Harry was choking him out. And I don't think Nic has forgotten exactly there's traitors in his camp working for the Circle.

Also, maybe I can see if my theory with the actual reason Harry having soulfire has to do with Lash, and Uriel was just the nudge to wake her up. If she redeemed herself before dying maybe she won't return as a fallen angel in his head but rather an angel on the road to redemption or some such.

Then there's the hope of my otp Molly/Dresden. Can the Winter Knight and Winter Lady navigate the treacherous dark court while teaching each other how to hold on to their humanity.

 

Surprisngly, this is what reignited my hype for Skin Game more than anything else.

It mean's we're finally done with all the emo bullshit since changes. Perfectly understandable and fair emo bullshit, but still...

Hype level is still lower than it has been for any of these books though. I think the minute I start listening to it properly, that'll change though.

I mean I've literally read this before, and further chapters up to Mab introducing Harry to his co-conspirators for the book. Were these chapters already released at the end of a previous book?
