Ok, so because of the unneeded (I think) roll, do I still have a PP to use my Fightin' Type distinction?

    Also, Jinxes are 1's right?

You spent the PP to create the asset.

Something to note: Survive is not the default defensive skill for dodging and the likes. That's Move. If you're like me and got the two confused, make sure to shout up.

With opportunities, do they go towards stepping down any complication, including ones created by a trigger or a jinxed successful recovery roll, or do they only go towards complications from regular jinxed rolls (ie GM introduced complications)?

Any. Provided they're 'scene' or on you. You can't step down someone else's complication.

Okay, awesome. I might try and use that opportunity next post then, if nobody wants it.

I feel like there is confusion as to what people are doing / where they are in the saloon scene. Allow me to demonstrate:

So I guess this "a little fleet of foot" are the stakes we're going to have to roll if we want to get anywhere on the ship in a reasonable amount of time.

Could I roll Notice instead of Move, because I'm watching where I'm going

If you're heading for the engines, don't worry about it. You already disappeared that way. Anywhere else, then you'll need a Move roll.

I was indeed headed to the engines. Never know when we'll need to pull an Ivan.

Rolled twice, but one was a Notice roll which you said was fine earlier. I actually put in "DLP_Aviary" instead of "DLP_Firefly" for my original rolls and had to re-roll. These ones turned out a lot better, so that was cool.

Um, I'm noticing my posts are a bit longer than most of the rest of yours. Sorry, not trying to write a novel or anything, but I've been having a lot of fun writing these. I've never had as much opportunity to add details like this in other games I've played. I'm thinking I should cut them down more though.

No, don't do that. The more you're into it, the more fun it is (to me anyways). I enjoy your posts. That, and they're typically in the same length range as mine, which makes me feel like I'm not overdoing it :D

Longer posts are better posts. Always.

What Aek said. The longer your post is, the more you give me to work with, the more I suck you into the story and the more fun everyone has.

Give me the rope to hang you with, guys!

Oh. Well, okay then, I guess I'll just not worry about it.

I think I must be the most unlucky player presently. Rolled 1 twice for my move. With my luck Enembee will make me stumble, break my arm and the client's! Hit me with your best shot boss.
