Right now maiden has made sevral contridictions already and the refusal to vote mathblade is compelling.

You agree math is scummy and i agree, so we have common grounds, im willing to compermise on one of those 2 atm. Everyone else atm is off the table.

…yea really not as up to this as I thought I’d be. I’m going to try and get as much mental word vomit out as I can about where I’m getting reads but I might say fuck it and fall asleep too…I wrote that first sentence like…2 hours ago I think. Meant this to go quick…meant this to be earlier. Strained a muscle in my back and breathing kinda hurts so bear with me if I start to ramble.

• Burkion – Impossible still to do much with one post from him since the re-roll. Kinda really hoping he’s not the Seer. Since his (justified) absence will make catching up a total bitch. I feel like he’s not scum though. Since it’s a 2 scum game having one be out of commission for this long seems like it might lead to a much more volatile single scum.

  3. Sloth – Well I know it was mentioned a while back that those who said definitive 2 were wolves were scumtelling a bit. I’d say his dry reaction to no one knowing the amount of scum would be a scumtell…but while I haven’t played any mafia games before this I HAVE heard him talk about it…a lot. He gets very into the details and can be remarkably anal about it…and just about everything else. So I don’t think this is a scumtell just his personality. My original feel is shifting out of Scum into Neutral town. In retrospect he called me out for apologetic behavior pre-reroll much like he is doing for Loch. And this was…well pretty much my reason for calling him out as scum

He has a point here. Out of everyone Sloth knows me better than most people in RL let alone here. Wouldn’t exactly be throwing myself in front of him if I were scum.

4. Citrus - A lot of his post just seemed reactionary to the first few pages but then I started to see active questioning in the same line as Lyrium. Town read.

5. Atum – Liking some of his answers. He isn’t hesitant and is answering directly. He seems more to be asking an occasionally question and answering than trying to manipulate others like a scum would

6. Maiden – Lurked for a good portion of the start and while exams and RL are an excuse it doesn’t take much just to post a note pointing that out with all the popping in and out she did. A bit defensive when she finally started actively posting and her refusal to give a read seemed suspicious. Slight scum read.

7. Ika – Reread the game pretty much for this read wall…might have been a bad idea but whatever. I note that his early bandwagons are fueled by claiming nothing else of use to go on which ignores Sloth’s and Loch’s reasoned (if flimsy) non random votes. After this is was just troll troll troll troll in a distracting manner. He seemed to ignore chances to get other players talking and ask questions in favor of forcing a bandwagon on Sloth and only started doing so when called on it by mutiple players.

Finally did start rooting about Maiden…but why Maiden when others were doing the same level of lurking. Could just be a random pick but it didn’t feel like one. Also claimed a lack of questions being asked and opportunity to get reads when everyone else seemed to be doing just that.

Also Seer hunting….I might just be confused and inexperienced but I can’t see an advantage to Town to Out who they think the seer is. Especially this early. Snow is right we can afford a few mislynches. There’s less of a risk of us lynching the seer if we don’t know them then there is if we announce it and Scum picks them off in the night…town doesn’t want is a target painted on the seer day one.

Pressed Snow for random and fluffy…got it…and was pissy in response. Seemed to be trying to push Snow into a bad mood so he can claim he’s acting scum by being in a bad mood. When he’s called out on how he plays he seems to just shrug it off on “that’s not how I roll” but gets pissy and scum reads those who respond in that vein followed by threats of rage. I say rage away.

8. Lyrium – starts with a mix of mechanical and player read questions. Seems to be the first to be doing this making her a bit more proactively cum hunting than the others. The question regarding the amount of werewolves COULD be telling of how people answer…but I honestly think a lot of people just forgot since it wasn’t directly in the gameplay thread. I know I forgot. Answers questions when asked with clarity and pressuring lurkers.

9. Rubicon - Is still actively scum hunting and asking questions. Doesn’t seem to be using questions to twist players against one another but to glean data from the decisions and reactions of others. Town

10. MathBlade – Got through a lot of this wall before realizing I had nothing on math. She isn’t high on the post count but when she does she seems to be analyzing other players if not asking a lot of questions. Null to Townish

11. LochNess – Find it a bit interesting that she calls me out for backing water on my changing slight read of her but doesn’t see Sloth saying something similar in 362 as an issue. The only difference is I jumped the gun and ran my mouth, which I’m pinning on my inexperience and distraction. Despite all this and a mild questioning of the first post and lurking I am getting a Null to town vibe.

12. Snowvon – His critisicm on Sloth for going after Loch seems misplaced. Sloth never claimed it was a ploy to play on emotions just defensive and unasked for. Also seeing more inconsistencies in his posting reasoning and refusal to support reads as a bit scummy. However I think it’s possible he’s let Ika bait him into the defensive to make him look like scum.

13. Dermon – Asking questions on his own vote to get a better feel for it seems Townish. But honestly despite registering as scummish to him nothing from him is really jumping out at me so just straight null.

Well I WAS considering Maiden/Ika; Ika could be leading a false hunt on Maiden to alleviate suspicion. If I am correct in his winding Snow up to make him look scummy just based on his bad mood it could play into this team as a TownSnow is now actively defending Maiden despite her defensive lurking tendencies against the person who’s been badgering him.

But now the vote count on Ika seems a touch too high to risk losing one of to scums this early

…In other worse I don’t know.

I've wanted to read Maiden as town post re-roll for the pre-roll reasons that you basically stated Sloth. Which, yeah.

However, her play toDay has just not been B&T Maiden to me. It's been more evasive for the most part. And there was the question on "mass claiming" which idk.

If she flips town + the NK by scum is what would tell us more.

- You're right. It was a joke vote. Then much, much later, I decided I'd be okay with it there for real.

- ika made it clear multiple times before that post that he thought I was scum because I wasn't as happy/fun as before.
- It's sort of real rage. I wouldn't have let it affect me outside of the game. And I have no idea what that acronym stands for.
- Did you read the post? I don't have to state that it's fluff for it to be fluff.
- Joke's on you. If IRC is anything to go by, I love being scum. Sadly, I'm town, and my emotions don't really have much to do with my alignment.
- Since when is the first lynch a universal scumread? It sucks to lynch a townie but I'd rather that townie not be me if I can help it. I have said multiple times, if my lynch looks inevitable, I'll take it. If the wagon switches from you to me at the last minute, sucks for me and best of luck to the rest of you.

Snowvon, who is your team again?

Again tunnel or bounce or rain on me or something. If you have a scum suspect the best thing to do is to tunnel them, question them, etc. until they either break or you decide that they are conf!scum or conf!town. I mean seriously, if you think Sloth or I am a scum (I'm not btw) then please rain on one of us with lightning and purple stuff. Or even both. Attack mode on.

Town in mafia should take on good cop\bad cop roles although being the bad cop is so much more fun and hot.
