I'm leaning for the Maiden vote, even though Sloth makes a decent case against, there's more I've seen for it. If that goes through and Maiden flips town, my next suspect for scum would be ika, for the reasons I've already said and for changing his suspicions from Snow to Maiden really quick.

Not sure if I should commit to L-1. I'm pretty sure I'll make day end though.

 

Never mind I'm definitely missing day end, but I'll be on for another 15 or so.

Atum if you are still here please put your vote on Maiden before you go. We don't want to accidentally not lynch due to players being unreachable. It is a better strategy to lynch a player and get information than not get it.

@All: Catching up on thread to respond...I just noticed that when reading and it was time sensitive.

@Riley: No idea? Maybe give benefit to town and say from 2:15 ish until time posting picked up?

@Rubicon: About that Rubicon, I agree that Sloth's facts are correct but it is the wrong conclusion. Just because someone's roles change doesn't mean that they changed roles. It could be that Maiden got caught and is trying to feel town. Her wall also isn't helpful as others have mentioned lots of nulls. I think what Sloth posted is actually a good case for why Maiden is scum.


I agree with the last sentence of Rubicon's. With every new game the probabilities change. If this was before the first game was played then yeah I'd agree with you that the odds would be remote. It could also be that Riley claimed to reroll and didn't. Trying to compare past roles to this one is a sure way to get burned. As soon as the other game was declared dead and reroles happened the first analysis is dead. IMHO it's better to assume a new game than try to metagame the host.

@Rubicon/Sloth: Also since you are one of my town reads, if you think Maiden is town who should we lynch today? We'd need enough support to pull it together in a few hours. I don't know if anyone else has the support and I'd rather lynch than no lynch.

@Sloth:I guess my meta of Maiden being a nice softy player influenced this one. I can see arguments both ways where they aren't scum aligned but they are my two top scum picks ugh. I was dog tired last night and I'll respond to the read wall later in this post.

He seems to think that there'd be a Slothaggedon (Burkion's words) even though there hasn't really been a case against sloth and makes me think Sloth may be NK'd and adds to the Sloth Town vibe I have.

That and almost everyone else actively has either commented on ika's play in a way except Burkion/LochNess. Since ika or myself would be a day two lynch (I acknowledge that I seem like a suspect but I am town...) I would be looking at someone who isn't suspecting them.

He's also not really that active either. (I know personal reasons...just have to take his activity into account.) This inactivity would help ika with his posting all over the place to not have to respond to Burkion.

Honestly after today's lynch I would want to get rid of LochNess so we'd have an active vote pool and not have to worry about having enough for lynch. If we get more active players I'd probably reassess. @RileyPoole: Is there potential for a mod kill or a replace here for LochNess? It would be better I think if everyone was active.

I agree with you that my play has changed a little bit. I would be suspicious of people who don't learn from their mistakes. I am learning the board. I just have my own off board issues that make things a bit harder.

Not reading posts well is not reading posts well. It is what it is. This is one of the more active first days I have been in and this much social input is difficult for me. It is why IRC mafia to me is easier. On th other hand, not responding to direct questions or stalling is a scumtell tactic which you have done. Redirection to a obv townie is a tell as well.

I am thinking for myself as well and group think can be one of those points. I have posted my reasons. You are welcome to think I am scum but at the end of the day by town flag will fly loud and proud.

Just because someone's perceived role changes doens't mean their actual role did...bad copy paste.

 

I signed up for this game because it was simple, no crazy machanics and I thought the posting didn't need to be as intensive as others since there was the 2 post a day rule, so I figured I could definitely keep up with that. But since everyone requires tons of activity from this, yeah please replace me so I don't ruin the game for everyone.

 

Hmm….Mathblade this post was pre-reroll so it’s not really all that telling. Burk’s only had one post this post reroll game. And even without that fact…I can’t tell if you’re taking this post out of context on purpose hoping no one will notice or don’t remember what it was about. At the time of that posting there was a trolly lulzy bandwagon on Sloth because he hadn’t appeared yet and the Slothaggedon was referencing him going crazy with a great wall of text in response to nearly getting lynched for random trolling reasons.

You’re becoming a bit more scum read as you go on. Trying to test the waters for a modkill before the first day is even over. Riley has posted what the posting mins are for the game which I’m 99% sure Loch has met the bare minimum of.

About the second I read it to be twice per 24 hour period. If it was twice per "day" then yeah still in the rules but more activity would be great. Removing inactive players and replacing them with active ones helps town...So how in the world is helping town a scum move?? Wth?

 

Because you didn't just say could we replace...the first option mentioned was modkill. Could be my inexperience but I don't think Modkill is synonymous with replacement. If you were town you'd just say hey can we replace with a more active player and not mention modkills because modkills really help no one but scum.

If I remember correctly Sloth you were modkilled last game. You didnt get a replacement.

 

I said OR. The order is irrelevant. I can't decide what a mod does. Even a mod kill can be better than inactivity as we get lower lynch totals and can therefore be more likely to gain info.

@LochNess: Sorry you feel you can't play...I hope to play with you one day.

I don't think #453 townfirms MathBlade at all. It would be a pretty clever fake out, IMO.

 

Consider this, if you flip villager i will take up your requestion on mathblade, unless if we can gather enough people to shift the wagon, you are lynch.

One of the things i actually do when ppl flip town is look at who put in effort to lynch them vs who just sheeped them. I also take into consideration who they suspected last.

Would you mind explaining why you think this? All I see is a bunch of nullreads from him, and his only other content on that page is the first part of #538, where he is addressing Lyrium.

So I did. My apologies. Right now she's null for lack of content, but leaning town due to the reactions to her first "apologetic" post.

No I think it is pretty clear ika said he would check me tonight. I may have derped earlier but that is pretty much almost word for word he'd use my seer abilities on me. He's more than welcome as I am town but it is scummy to claim now.

And that's fine but they are wrong and you didn't even try to explain it when I shot a pretty big hole in your argument. Damn it I tried giving the benefit of the doubt but you and ika are alternating scummy posts...back to Maiden sigh.
