Seconded, Misfits is superhero kids done in a both awesome and original way.

Edit: Watched the pilot, have to say, meh it looks quite good but dosnt strike me as original in any way, nor am I drawn to any of the characters or relationships. The actors are solid but all look too old to be teenagers (which I get the impression most are supposed to be.) That being said the production value is high so I would continue watching to see in what direction they take this.

Push is so underrated. It's better than Chronicle, imo.

The only characters that grabbed me were John and Jed. Those two should be the main focus of the show.

Worm is a piece of shit.

I watched the pilot episode, wasn't exactly amazing, not horrible though. I'll give the series a shot, but I have a hunch that this is going to be cancelled after the first season.

@Sree: Worm ranges from mediocre to incredible, with a great deal of "I simply cannot give a fuck about this arc" thrown in.

I got to the 13th arc of Worm and kind of lost my steam. Despite trying to avoid spoilers I heard it really goes off the rails after a certain point, so I dunno.

I just caught the last episode of this and was surprised at how decent it was. It reminds me of Dark Angel but with a smaller budget and minus the really hot Jessica Alba.

John is the best character, he looks like Reese from Terminator - the main guy seems a little bland and in no way looks like a high schooler.

Can tell this isn't a popular show around here since this thread hasn't been updated in the last six months, but I have to rant someplace.

What in the hell were the writers thinking? The season finale jumped the shark with an F-16—so fast and so far gone it was brutal to watch. First, how the hell do you take Jedikiah, work him from the villian of the show into someone that people could almost care for, and then for no reason at all, spin him back into a villian in the most clumsy way, possible? And for a moment, does anyone believe, after everything that just happened between him and his brother, that he would wipe his "son's" memory in order to create a new paramilitary force? What?

By doing that, they ruined the balancing act between the leaders of the Tomorrow People (even if John was "human" by that point). Now, Stephen becomes this all powerful, altruistic person, bordering on a Gary Stu; the angst will probably be cranked to 11 with a love triangle between him, Cara, and Astrid; and nothing that happens needs to happen since he can reverse time and change it.

John was completely out of character playing both Astrid and Cara. That was not how his character had been built, and by showing him with both in emotionally intimate scenes, the writers completely undid his character—one of conviction and focus. And now, of course, he's just a blank slate.

I admit that the whole "My side hurts, what did you do?" element from Cara was interesting, and had they screwed up the show so severely, I would have liked to see how it played out. I also thought that bringing all the new breakouts together and starting a new war between the Stephen's "The Tomorrow People" and "Natalie's Gang" as it was called would be a decent main conflict for the coming seasons—two equal but opposing groups with different agendas for the future of the species. That would've set it up well.

But the whole Jedikiah thing really made the show jump the shark, IMO.

Yup, canceled. I was watching it, but I can't say I'm too upset at the news. I watch a lot of shit, and The Tomorrow People was getting lower and lower on my priority list. I had a feeling season two was going to continue the downward track.

There were some great scenes in it, but the show just moved too fast. I do like the concept, and it had a lot of potential, but the way it was handled just wasn't good.
