I'm gonna just quote different things about Snowvon instead of making a wall

I don't see the manipulation Sloth is suggesting here.

The fact that Snowvon approaches the conversation as though the points he's making should be obvious to Sloth and he's trying not to be condescending to him means that in his mind, he's probably genuinely frustrated that Sloth's misreading him. He thinks he is clearly in the right.

If Prophylaxis can play as much as he does on IRC and still not write his Brass & Tax mod notes, he can play on IRC and not give Snowvon much advice.

A scummy reaction in this scenario would be to manufacture a bunch of reasons why Maiden is scum, i.e. to try to get pressure off himself by manipulating us into scum-reading someone else. Example.

Snowvon's follow-up to Sloth's point about Maiden being Seer ('good point - why are you asking me about this?') suggests he just hadn't thought about the implications... which is okay. (I don't think it makes him town, but I don't think it makes him scummy.)

He's making at least some attempt at scumhunting here.

If your case on someone includes the words "outright admitting" it probably needs reworking.

I've had time to think and a lot of content from you to work with.

Sloth I'm really sorry, I want to respond to your post but I'm sort of starting my first day of work and the deadline falls right in the middle of my shift. If I'm still alive toMorrow I'll reply + kick my butt into gear. I've been thinking about who I'd really like to scumhunt.

I'll hang around for short replies if necessary but no big posts/replies from me.

Also Rubicon ty for defending me, still not sure why you're going out of your way.

Why would think she wouldn't think this way? Isn't that an easy defense/argument to slip in as town - > scum? Or because it's too transparent?

@Sloth/Lyrium/Citrus: I didn't cast my vote because like I said, Maiden was my top prospect for a lynch and we had time so I didn't want to move her to L-1. I can't recall whether anyone was in to unvote, but keep in mind that this is my first game on this forum and I'll admit to not thinking that decision through well.

In response to some of the things that got posted since I was off, I'm personally still liking the Maiden vote, if only because her contributions, to me, have not been substantial up until this point.

As has been pointed out, the same can probably be said for Snow, but without a computer I can't go back and look through everything so I'm mostly going off feelings when I say I lean town in regard to Snow.

Some of ika's more recent posts have jumped out to me as scummy, especially the ones that endorse Mathblade as the best D2 vote if Maiden gets lynched and flips scum, my D2 is ika in that case. Also, continuing to push for theose 4 as scum strikes me as a good way to get suspicion off of a scummate and get Town to ML over and over again.

Why would it even occur to her? We talked about rerolling, Riley said he rerolled, she knows he did reroll. I've never heard of a mod not actually rerolling.

---------- Post automerged at 01:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:12 PM ----------

Not to mention, it's a bad defense because everyone who was scum last game and town this game knows he did re-roll.

I regret not making you explain this before writing my last few posts, lol.

It seems like whenever Ika does something towny, he immediately does something scummy as well. He seems to alternate between being overly emotional and detrimental to the town, and providing insights like Maiden's contradiction in her reads in #552. All of this, combined with the seer claim, which I can't make heads or tails of the reasoning behind, leads me to categorize him now as "I can't read for shit."

    Unvote

The next scum on my list is Von, with little to no content in many of his posts, as well as doing things that I associate with a scum mindset. For example:
If you were town, your answers wouldn't be wishy-washy. As town, you accept that you're going to be wrong sometimes, and have to carry on in spite of it. Additionally, he continues to tunnel Lyrium, while not sufficiently providing a rationale for thinking she's scum.

    Vote: Snowvon

Just because it's a bad defense, doesn't mean it's not viable

    MathBlade:
I liked the case on Ika that she made in post 484, even if it does assume a Maiden-Ika scumteam, which I don't agree with. However, I don't know what to make of her unvoting Ika on "good faith," less than 25 posts from her case on him. It sounds particularly hypocritical when she points out Ika's "flip flop on Maiden
when she has done something similar concerning Maiden. Add her slip concerning the number of werewolves painting her as town, and I have trouble placing MathBlade anywhere except a solid null.

Rubicon, my frustration with Snowvon is that 1. he focuses on me and then doesn't tunnel or cops out. 2. Every game when I'm town and someone focuses on me they've been scum or derp

Sloth, this is updated up to Dermon

It would be horrible town play to not be around in the final hours and then suddenly be the Seer at the last second (when there's not enough time to move the lynch).

    Concerning LochNess:
Both her first and most recent posts concern lack of posting, with the final requesting replacement. However, I don't think that this implies a scum lean. If anything, it's guilt over letting down the town because of her low postcount. I know I was swamped with work during Dresden mafia and had to replace out of that, and I felt terrible for not participating while I was there.
The only thing of consequence we have from her is post #445, in which she answers some of Lyrium's questions and addresses Maiden. What popped out at me from that post was this:
That's a little too close to a contradiction for my liking, but it is mostly mitigated by what she says directly afterward about Maiden not being the "best candidate" for lynching.
However, seeing as this is the only post of value, I don't think there's enough here to set a solid read on her. She goes into the same "null due to lack of content" slot as Burkion.
