It will, especially if you are town ika. It's hard to fool us both.

 

Mostly against it because of the reason Citrus mentioned + because the way people claim their results could easily leak extra information. It depends on how good the scum team is at piecing together information and PR hunting. It would be a very bad idea to use this plan if I were scum. Probably you/ika too.

 

Titus, if we are both alive, everything about me will be cleared. I'm pretty sure we can do it. My gambits are crazy but you are one of the few who when thought out. Are town. If I'm not seer I'm sure of who it is. Basically I am putting scums in catch 22.

Kill me, I flip seer/town and gamut works.

Kill a seer, gambit works.

Titus would be more aware if she was scum, plus if she is, she will know I will figure her sooner or later. It's not garenteed town but today I'm going on guts and against the grain of scumming her.

Tomorrow I will be watching her. From there it will be figured

 

There's also the point that LochNess leaving under those circumstances begs town, not scum. Scum would see it as natural suspicion I would think vs town feels bad and gives up motivation to keep up and play

As far as titus's entrance is concerned, she could say everything she has said as town or scum. I don't see any alignment influenced words from her yet

 

Also, where's snowvon?

Really optimal is tomorrow seer checks and clears, if I find wolf we out and 1 remains, if other claims seer, well, rather not say.

Titus request for tonight: look into snow and compare game 1/2 something seems off.

How would you be cleared by being alive ika? Keep in mind I haven't read the game yet due to the fact we could be shut off any moment now.

ika, I also tend to be self-aware as either alignment. It's just different ways. I generally have no qualms about dying and welcome it frequently.

That was embarrassing. I said I'd be around on my phone but my boss banned cell phones from the work area. Oops.

I was planning on doing responses during Twilight but thirty minutes isn't long enough for me to write anything that isn't sloppy so I guess I'll just post them toMorrow.

Okay I'm skipping most of the unaligned pairs because meta is making me question some of them.

Town reads I'm comfortable with on review:

Sloth
Lyrium
Snowvon
MathBlade

I lean town on the following players:

Atum: Playing mostly like before the re-roll, explains himself okay, reasonable answers. Not voting is a newbie tell not a scum tell. He does make an interesting remark about Dermon: "No offence meant but I'm really not sure how well he'd live up to [being Seer]." I don't know why he would pick Dermon out of the group to say that about.

Possibly not aligned with MathBlade due to his question to ika in #394 ("Why MathBlade?") and he apparently "hopes" she's the Seer. Probably not with Sloth for this line: "My question to you was mostly sarcastic, partly because I wanted a response and mostly because I usually disagree with your reads and your reasoning."

TerRaine: Her last wall was really well-reasoned with a lot of analysis. I'm skeptical this came from scum. I don't think her jump on LochNess looked like buddying, but this is weak.

Players I find suspicious:

Citrus - His interaction with me last night is good mostly because it happened at all and he was able to explain things when pushed. Still gut vibe him as scum though, and he's not doing anything super town. I do not think he's on a team with Maiden.

LochNess/Titus - One thing that stands out to me is the subtle defenses of Snowvon and Maiden while not calling either of them town, e.g. she hopes Snow is scum "otherwise people are wasting a lot of time and energy and could definitely get a bit tunnel visioned towards him" (#445) and "I know everyone is out to get Maiden but when I read through the thread I didn't see quite what everyone else did." (#428). The way she backed off her Citrus vote also rubbed me wrong, probably because she didn't comment on his reaction or his other content.

ika - I think he's scumhunting and driving the conversation and I think this is probably town, but I'm still wary because I read you as town for D1 in Binding of Isaac. Calling Titus 99% town for entrance looks off since you guys usually tunnel on each other.

Dermon - His analysis in WitchHunt 3 was more targeted, like he asked more questions and adjusted as he went along. He doesn't seem to be following up on things here, like his scum-read on TerRaine. Thinking about it, I don't like this:

He's focused on repeatedly letting us know his "top 3" even though #4 is still scummy (and not following up on analyzing #4).

I don't think Dermon is aligned with Maiden, though, for the question he asked Citrus about her: "Citrus, what is causing your scumread on Maiden? In my opinion, there's not enough there to bump her out of the lurker category" which draws an unnecessary connection between them. #520 probably isn't something he'd say about a buddy either, so probably not Dermon/Atum.

 

This makes no sense in the current setup, given that it's outright stated the only killing roles are scum so there's no chance of us both killing each other.

Second, if either ika or myself is scum, we wouldn't nightkill each other most likely. ika would not likely kill me because I'm much easier to lynch as town (I have difficulties avoiding lynch if I haven't cracked the setup) and ika frequently makes himself lynchbait in the games where I'm scum and he's town. Plus, the baggage makes a helpful foil.

Smart scum love attention, if they have a plan as to how to direct that attention. Neutral skill level scum hide under the radar. Lower level scum hope to hide and play by the adage, the less you post the less you slip. Of course, that various based on the personality of the player. A hyperactive noob town will likely be hyperactive as noob scum as well.
