    Steve Irwin vs a Charizard.

Or essentially Steve Irwin trying to Tame a charizard, seems amusing to me from all the movies I watched of him as a kid.

Bonus points if it starts off like:

"That's the most deadly Charizard in this entire region! So what I'm gonna do, is sneak up on him, and jam my thumb in his butthole! Cranky!" he said, jumping on the Charizard. "Boy this lizard is really pissed! I'm gonna jam my thumb in his butthole now! Oh yeah, that pissed it off alright!"

The long promised Yoda vs Dumbledore is here. It is my first time ever writing Dumbledore, so be kind.

"All prefects are to lead the students to their dormitories. Students will remain there until further notice. All teachers, report to the Headmaster at the entrance to the school."

Minerva Mcgonagall's voice rang through all hallways of the castle, even as she walked briskly, lips pursed in a thin line, next to the Headmaster. The only light available was produced from torches and candles, as all windows had been barred shut, commanded so by Dumbledore himself.

The Headmaster and the deputy reached the entrance hall. There, they found several members of the staff, looking outside the open doors anxiously. Dumbledore himself reached them, walked to the doors and looked outside.

Outside and up. Even with the doors open and despite being noon, no light shone down upon them.

Only now did the noise of the staff members reach him. They were talking all at once, every single one of them directing questions his way.

"Quiet down!" His deputy chided sharply, immediately putting an end to the racket. Dumbledore was grateful. He turned, asserting control and facing the expectant and worried faces of his coworkers.

"We do not know what these are." He said gravely. "And though we have not been attacked, we must take all available precautions. It is no accident that they darken Hogwarts rather than any other part of the world."

He was interrupted by his Charms professors squeaky voice, which rang out. "Look! They're coming down."

Albus turned to look outside. Indeed, several shapes, tiny in comparison to the motherships, detached themselves and headed for land. They seemed small, but judging from the distance that original impression was deceptive.

The staff watched as the ships reached land well outside Hogwarts' borders and began unloaded men by the dozens, until the fields outside were awash with the white of their armor. They seemed humanoid, which didn't assuage them much. Along with the men, sizable machines were landed. He didn't recognize them from his occasional forrays into the muggle world, but he could see the resemblance.

"They're coming this way, Albus." His deputy informed him unnecessarily, less a notification and more a plead to take action of some sort.

"Minerva, Severus," Dumbledore called, and his two most trusted immediately walked to his side "we will go out and discuss with these visitors."

Pandemonium erupted among the teachers who doubted the wisdom of such an action. Dumbledore cut them off with a sharp order for quiet and the tiniest glare.

"We are still not under attack. Despite the unexpected nature of the situation, we must not rash to conclusions. The rest of you, lock down the castle completely, protect the students, and continue trying to contact the ministry."

He received nods, some more reluctant than others, but that was enough for him. He strode outside and the two professors followed him. Snape's brow was furrowed, his eyes roaming over the massive force arrayed outside their borders.

As they walked towards the Hogwarts gates, they saw the most curious thing occur. The people that had descended from the gigantic ships floating above them had reached the edge of the grounds and the gate itself. To the bewilderment of the three wizards, the gates opened by themselves, slowly but surely separating until they were fully opened.

Dozens of the armored men were waiting outside, muggle weapons held aloft, but none went through the gate. Many seemed to try, but then turn and return to their earlier stations. Eventually, a single figure limped through the gate, walking slowly but surely to meet the three incoming professors.

Dumbledore was intrigued. The figure was in no way the same as the soldiers. If his eyesight hadn't abandoned him yet, it seemed to be incredibly short, green with long pointy ears, robes and a walking stick. It seemed like a House Elf, only a dark shade of green and lacking the nose.

    Doubtlessly, it was their leader.

    "Minerva, Severus, wait here."

"Albus?" His potions master asked him warily, giving him a sidelong glance.

"Their leader is coming. It is only courteous that I meet him alone."

    "But Albus-"

"Do not interfere." He cut him off, landing a heavy gaze on him. "No matter what happens, if those soldiers continue to stay outside the borders, do not interfere."

His professors seemed ready to argue, but his serious expression silenced whatever doubts they, and they both nodded reluctantly. They started backtracking to give him space as he, in turn, walked towards the green figure.

They reached a distance of a few meters between them and stopped. Dumbledore looked the being over. On closer inspection, it looked nothing like a House Elf besides the stature. The color was all wrong, as was the face, and he'd never seen a House Elf wearing a light brown robe, leaning on a walking stick, or regard him with such a serious expression.

It didn't look all that impressive, reaching barely above his knee. But Dumbledore had more senses besides his eyesight, and these senses were screaming at him the being in front of him was powerful. Very powerful. He sensed ... something emanating out of him waves. He hesitated to call it magic, because the feel was ever so slightly different, but what else could it be?

The being opened its mouth and spoke, its voice sounded old and grave but firm. The Elder Wand immediately appeared on Dumbledore's hand as he cast a translation spell on himself. The being's eyes immediately snapped to the piece of wood and narrowed, and he stopped speaking.

Relatively certain that he would be able to understand him now, Albus spoke.

"I'm sorry, care to repeat that?"

The being regarded him carefully, as if surprised that he could speak his language. Good, the spell worked.

"Strong defences, this place has. But to keep me out, more than that, it will take."

He had no trouble understanding the person despite his roundabout way of speaking. Dumbledore eyed the white sea outside of the grounds. Were they all muggles, then, that this being could and they could not? And was this proof that he was magical?

"Hogwarts has been protected thus for many years." Dumbledore said. "I do not believe we have been introduced. My name Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore."

The being cocked its head to the side, an action made stronger by its long pointy ears.

"Yoda, I am." He said simply. Dumbledore decided to refer to Yoda as a he, since his voice sounded decidedly masculine, until told otherwise.

"Yoda, then. Please explain to me; what is the meaning of this?"

"Here on account of the Republic, we are. An important mission, we have."

The republic? What kind of republic?

    "I'm afraid I don't quite follow."

"Surprising, it is not. Made contact before, your planet has not. Isolated, you are. Very isolated."

The implications chilled him. There was no doubt about it now. This being, and probably the thousands of people outside, were aliens. But if so, what was their purpose here?

"The leader of this place, are you?"

"I am the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, yes."

"Regrettable, it is, that we do not have time for the proper induction procedures. Go through them after the mission is complete, we can."

"Procedures?" Dumbledore asked. There was a lot for him to process. Yoda shook his head.

"Time, there is not. Ask you to lower defences, I must, for my soldiers to pass through."

Dumbledore's expression darkened as he frowned.

"Hogwarts is a school. It is full of children and youngsters seeking to learn. I will not allow armed forces to roam its halls. Never in a thousand years has Hogwarts been taken, and it will not happen under my tenure."

"Imperative it is, that you do as I ask. Search, we must, for the Separatist leaders. Pointing here, our investigations do. Ask you again, I will."

"I know nothing of any leaders. The only ones residing in Hogwarts are the students and the staff. I will not allow your men entrance. No army will ever enter Hogwarts."

Yoda looked vaguely threatening now, leaning further on his stick and narrowing his eyes.

"Why deny so vehemently, you do? Something to hide, have you?"

"We hide nothing. But my decision stands."

"Trust you, I cannot. Enter, we must. Enter, we will, one way or another."

    "Are you threatening us?"

"Find the Separatists, we must. For you to get in our way, I will not allow."

"Then you will have to go through me."

With that final statement, Dumbledore brandished the Elder Wand, not quite pointing at Yoda but certainly ready for anything.

The green being cocked his head to the side again, and Dumbledore felt a gentle presence enter his mind. He suddenly felt the urge to drop his wand and release all the protective magic surrounding the grounds.

He cleared his mind effortlessly, separating his own thoughts from the invading ones and thus rendering them useless. He narrowed his eyes down at the alien. Legilimency. Not the kind that he was used to and the one he was an expert at, but Legilimency nonetheless.

He did not expect his return probe to do much, and, true enough, it didn't. Some kind of Occlumency at work, though it was completely different to entering an Occluded mind. His probe seemed to bounce off before it even entered Yoda's thoughts.

"That wont work on me." He said.

"See that, I can. Chosen the hard way, you have. Regrettable, this is." He did sound sincere, but that did not matter right now. Dumbledore prepared for combat, his magic rushing through him. He was determined not to strike the first blow.

Yoda signed deeply, taking an equally deep breath before standing straighter and letting his walking stick fall to the ground. He was clearly magical. What would he do? Did aliens use wands?

Apparently not, because Yoda suddenly thrust his three-fingered hand towards when Dumbledore found himself airborn. He'd seen no spell come his way, and his expectation of some form of weapon made him unable to form a defense in time.

His breath was knocked out of his chest by the concussive force of the magical thrust, but he had not lost his bearings. His silent Aresto Momentum stopped his flight and he let himself fall the few feet to the ground.

Yoda was walking towards him calmly, hands bent at the elbows and fingers clawed.

A quick tranfiguration turned the being's walking stick into a mildly venomous snake and several blades of grass in front of him into bees, all of which he layed a compulsion on to attack Yoda.

A quick thrust of the alien's hand took care of the bees in front of him. The snake aproached from behind, slithering silently, and lunged. Yoda turned with inhuman speed and grabbed the snake by its head between his fingers. A quick twist and the snake was dead, reverting to its wooden form, now split.

Yoda had the good sense not to stare at the remains of his stick for long, returning to look at his opponent. Dumbledore's Stupefy was leaving the Elder Wand just as he did so. The alien dodged nimbly to the side, letting the spell fly by harmlessly.

Dumbledore unleashed a stream of spells, none lethal but enough to inconvenience or knock out, should they land. They had the same fate, as the alien sidestepped or jumped above them in an acrobatic display that should be impossible for his stature.

In between two spells, Dumbledore snapped his want to the left and right, sending transfiguration spells to patches of earth to Yoda's sides. Two wolves emerged, snarling and biting at the air, before rushing towards the alien.

He didn't even look at them as he angled his head to dodge one of Dumbledore's spells. He extended his clawed hands to the sides and the wolves suddenly stopped, before rising off the ground and floating in the air, their paws clawing uselessly for purchase.

Yoda clenched his hands and the wolves let out a pitiful yowl as they were crushed. Yoda suddenly trust his hands towards him andthe remains of the wolves were propelled towards him. Dumbledore had enough time to swipe his wand, making the projectiles change direction and fly off to the side.

Suddenly he was on the defensive, summoning a strong shield against Yoda's push. His shield held but groaned. Albus paid more careful attention this time, confident that his shield could withstand another blast. Truly, it held, but the more important part were the ripples in the air as the pushing force rushed towards him. Now that he knew what to look for, he could spot it.

He snapped off a quick stupefying spell, watching it soar towards Yoda even as he cast more spells to follow it. The alien held up his hands, and his palms were shimmering with a soft blue light.

When the spell reached him, Yoda batted them aside like a man would slap flies to scare them off. The spells bounced off his hands, not unlike a shield favored in the dueling circuit that covered one's hand and could block most of the allowed spells.

He stopped casting. As the last spell reached Yoda, the green alien reached with both hands and grasped it. The brown glow of the Confundus charm was held between the alien's palms as he inspected it with interest.

"Your command over the force, very interesting it is." With these words, he tossed the spell to the side and it splashed harmlessly against a boulder.

Alright. Time to step it up a bit.

Torrents of water leapt from his wand, obeying his will and encircling the green alien. Just as the water was about to converge on him, Yoda jumped, an impossibly high jump that led him above and beyond the water to land safely.

Dumbledore did not let up, unleashing and more water, filling the field with it. Yoda continued to evade the torrents, jumping this way and that, looking for a proper opening. Once, Dumbledore almost cornered him but found that he could not move the body of water he'd almost landed on him. By the time he regained control, Yoda had already jumped away, his acrobatics definitely being aided by magic.

Yoda was running out of places to evade to, Dumbledore was certain. To his surprise, he saw three rocks raise themselves off the ground, between him and Yoda. He realised what was happening too late, as Yoda had already jumped off the first first rock and had landed on the second, evading the water completely, by the time he destroyed the third rock with a well placed Bombarda.

It didn't seem to phase the alien, who apparently judged the distance from the second rock to be close enough. He jumped and Dumbledore almost lost sight of him, such was his speed.

Yoda was flying firectly towards him and he was still straining to control the massive body of water he had conjured. He hastily released his control over it and moved to the side, reconizing that it was too late to cast anything to intercept the alien.

His reflexes didn't fail him, and the short being missed him by inches. Dumbledore saw a flash of green light, not unlike that of a Killing Curse, but longer, as the alien passed by him.

He turned to quickly to where he knew Yoda had landed, and watched as the alien rose from his landing crouched, holding a beam of light in his right hand. Upon closer inspection, he saw that Yoda held some sort of handle, from which the green blade sprang. The blade was glowing green and buzzing ominously.

Looking down, Dumbledore saw the edge of his sleeve had been cut in half. If the correlation with the Killing Curse had even the slightest bit of truth to it, he'd better not be cut by that.

The water he had conjured had already vanished, without his magic sustaining it. He quickly transfigured the ground beneath the alien into quicksand, but he was already gone, flying through the air at breakneck speed, heading towards him again, blade raised.

Increasingly alarmed by the blade and Yoda's speed, Dumbledore raised a shield. As he flew at him, Yoda thrust forward with his free hand, shattering his shield with a magical push.

Albus could not dodge the sweeping blade in time. Instead, he brought the Elder Wand to bear, magic coursing through it and positively humming in anticipation, and blocked the downward strike. They stayed like this for a second, locked in this hold, with Yoda's blade pushing against the Elder Wand.

To Dumbledore's alarm, he saw faint whisps of smoke rising from the point of contact, despite all the magic and protective enchantments on the wand. Thankfully, Yoda could not sustain the hold while in mid-air, so after this brief clash he landed on the ground. He swiped at Dumbledore's legs but he had already backstepped, getting out of range.

Yoda was obviously faster than he was and he closed the distance between them in the ensuing second. Dumbledore was forced to block with the Elder Wand again, though he pushed away immediately before the smoke even had a chance to form.

He conjured five birds to buy him a few seconds and distance. The birds dove at the alien, but were swiftly cut down by graceful moves of the emerald blade.

Dumbledore had put enough distance between them to unleashe one of his heavier spells, which left his wand as twin trails of red smoke, interwining as they headed for their target. Yoda crouched for half a second before he shot forward blade first. The blade cut through Dumbledore's spells, sending the two parts of it careening in opposite sides to land on the ground. The grass around the areas they landed in withered and died.

He had no desire to feel the blade. He swished his wand, and the earth rose between him and the alien, forming a barrier and halting his advance. Not two second later, Yoda landed on top of the barrier and jumped again. Albus unleashed a spell, which got deflected by the blade. His follow up banisher got through, however, and Yoda's mad flight towards him ended as he was thrown backwards, to crash into and through the earthen barrier.

Dumbledore took a deep breath and released the barrier, letting it fall back into the ground. He saw Yoda in the distance, picking himself up off the ground with some difficulty. His movement reminded Dumbledome of himself, when his old bones creaked more than usual. Perhaps the alien was old, too?

He didn't see the blade anywere, but he did see the alien raise his hand and thrust it towards him. No pushing force appeared and for a moment Dumbledore wondered what had happened, before his eyes widened. He looked to the side to find the source of the whoosing noise. The metal gate of the grounds' entrance had detached itself and was now flying towards him at alarming speeds.

He could not hope to transfigure the heavily warded metal in the scarce second of reaction time that he had. Instead, he summoned a fierce gale of wind and dove to the side. His dodge, couple with the redirected course of the gate caused by the sudden wind saved his life, as the gate barely missed him and continued to roll further up the hill.

He picked himself off the ground, his back groaning painfully, as did he left knee. His eyes locked on Yoda, who had retrieved his light sword and was staring at him.

Dumbledore mentally called for his familiar, relaying his request to him. The rush of warmth through him was enough of a consent.

In a ball of blazing fire, Fawkes appeared. In his talons he was clutching the Sorting Hat, which he swiftly dropped as he flew above the Headmaster. He may not have played Quidditch in many decades, but his reflexes were still sharp.

The Phoenix song invigorated him, bringing energy to his tired muscles. The Phoenix song did not appear detrimental to Yoda, but then again Albus hadn't expected it to. He hadn't felt a shred of dark from the being. He missed the days when all he had to fight were dark wizards and creatures.

He held the Sorting Hat in his free hand.

"Apologies for taking you off your shelf early, Stanley."

That said, he reached his hand inside the Hat, all the way to the shoulder. After a moment of searching, he pulled it back, the Sword of Gryffindor gleaming.

Fawkes flew by and took the Hat again, vanishing in the same flame as he appeared.

He transferred his wand to his left. He had no trouble casting with the left hand, but operating the sword with it would have been tricky. He hefted the blade, getting a feel of its weight after many years. Wizards had stopped using swords centuries ago, but they'd always fascinated him. He'd participated in a few championships, back in his day.

Yoda was approaching him with measured steps, blade alight at his side.

"Neither lightsaber nor vibroblade, this is. Yet feel its power, I can."

Dumbledore allowed his magic to course through him, strengthening his limbs, removing the obstacles of old age from his body for a short time. He'd seen Yoda's speed, and normally he wouldn't stand a chance. However, magic was his ally. In the old days of swordfighting, the winner was rarely decided by one's technical skill with the weapons. Rather, combatants would use magic to enhance their bodies to the peak of their ability. It is an ability that had served Dumbledore well in the past.

He cracked his neck to the side, feeling the satisfying pop, and raised his wand.

Stone spikes rose from the ground, rushing to impale Yoda where he stood. He ignored them, dashing forward and evading them completely. Dumbledore's tranfigured lion lost paw and head in two swift strikes, and then the green alien was upon him.

Lightsaber and legendary sword met, and this time there was no smoke rising, signifying damage. The metallic blade sunk about halfway through the beam of light and stayed there as the two of them initiated their struggle. Yoda was surprisingly strong for a person of his size, holding back Dumbledore's magic enhanced push with little obvious strain.

Yoda broke the lock by pushing both blades to the side, then jumped, his acrobatics bringing him above Dumbledore's tall frame. As he flew, Dumbledore raised the sword to block two swift, mid-air strikes before whirling to face his enemy as he landed. He'd switched to a two handed grip for better control, the wand held between his hand and the handle.

They traded blows for a minute, and Albus came to the realization that, though he was using every bit of skill he could remember from his youth and straining as much of his magic as he dared through his limbs, he was barely keeping up with the green alien, and stayed mostly on the defensive. His opponent's smaller frame presented a smaller target, easier to defend, while at the same time Dumbledore had to work extra hard to avoid having his long limbs lobbed off.

Swordfighting was not going to bring him victory today.

He held his wand in his left hand and, in a moment of respite, ran it along the length of the blade, leaving a trail of fire behind it. The sword ignited, making for a fearsome sight.

While Yoda was examining the new development he took aim and unleashed more fire, this time much more but also tightly controlled, in a torrent directly aimed at the alien. He jumped away but the Headmaster followed his path with his wand, guiding the flame back towards him.

Having learned his lesson from the earlier performance with the water, Yoda chose to face the flame rather than evade it and letting it grow. His blade vanished inside the folds of his robe and he held his clawed hands out. Dumbledore felt the magical shockwave and gasped, the strength behind it staggering enough to send even him, standing further away as he was, on the ground. The flames encroaching around the alien were smothered.

Dumbledore rose to his feet, breathing heavily. The augmentation of his body was useful, but straining.

He unleashed rope and chains towards the alien, who dashed between them and cut his way through. He lowered the flaming Gryffindor's sword to block the knee swipe, then brought it the other way to block the follow up.

Yoda pulled one hand back from the grip of his saber, and then thrust it towards him. At this range and with his hands holding the sword, he could do little to defend against the push. He did swift his weight to the side and mostly evaded it, but the sword was gone as it was sent flying away from him. His hand throbbed with pain where the sword was violently ripped his grasp.

The second push caught him completely off-guard. He was sent flying and his breath left his lungs. He had the foresight to send a wild cushioning charm behind him, and not a second too soon as he smashed into the side of a tree trunk. Despite the charm, his back felt the impact.

He allowed himself a second to groan in pain with his eyes closed, before opening them again and raising the Elder Wand to stop the boulder flying towards him in its tracks. He sent the boulder back with a banisher, but Yoda merely redirected it with a swing of his hand.

Albus saw the alien pick up a fallen tree trunk and proppel it towards him. Rather than stop it with magic, he merely ducked under it, trusting his insticts to see him through this. At the same time, he unleashed several bolts of lightning from the Elder Wand, aimed at Yoda's general direction.

Of the few that would have hit him, Yoda caught two on the length of his blade, dispersing them, but a third caught him on the shoulder, sending him to the ground with a strangled yell.

Dumbledore felt wetness on the back of his hed. He brought his free hand up and touched his hair. Bringing it in front of his eyes, he saw blood. He must have hit that tree harder than he thought. He was aching all over, and his joints were protesting the abuse they'd been put through.

Yoda didn't seem to be faring much better. He was faintly smoking from the lightning as he picked himself up again, blade held tightly on his three-fingered hand but making no move to engage him again.

Dumbledore Summoned the sword again, and its weight fell on his free hand. He moved closer to his opponent.

"Unleash lightning against me, you did. Yet the dark side in you I do not sense."

Dumbledore frowned. Lightning was strong, but not dark.

"I am not a dark wizard."

The alien regarded him wearily. Albus suddenly knew that, although he had no idea what kind species he was, he was old. As old as he was, if not older.

Yoda extended his arm. A few seconds later, the cracked piece of wood he'd been using earlier flew to his hand, and he leaned on it for support.

"Obvious, this has become to me. This fight, the Force does not approve."

What was this force he kept mentioning?

"I cannot allow you to enter the school."

"Yet certain I must be, that hiding here the Separatists are not. A Jedi Master, I am. A duty, I have."

    "Are they magical?"

Yoda cocked his head to the side again.

    "Magical?"

"Do they have abilities, like you and me? Or are they like them?" He said, gesturing to the hundreds of white armored people waiting outside.

Yoda did not speak for a minute, obviously deep in consideration.

"Like them, they would be. With walking machines, perhaps."

    Dumbledore shook his head.

"They would not be able to enter, and the machines would be able to operate on the school grounds. And if someone of your caliber where to step in, I would know."

Yoda watched him for another minute, before closing his eyes and relaxing. Dumbledore let him. Eventually, the green alien opened his eyes and nodded resolutely at him.

"I will trust in you, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. Dance around your presence, the Force does."

Dumbledore rather supposed that this had to be a compliment.

    "Please, call me Albus."

Yoda smiled, the edges of his mouth creeping upwards. Then he turned to the side and started walking, slowly, towards the ruined gate.

    "Are you leaving, then?"

"Indeed. Find out where the Separatists went, if not here, I must. The source of the false information, as well." He paused momentarily, head turning to the side to glance at the taller figure. "Perhaps meet again, we shall?"

    "Under better conditions, hopefully."

That wry smile he would recognize on anyone, even aliens. They said nothing else as the alien hobbled towards the gate. Albus wached as the figure was lost among the taller soldiers. Slowly, they all filed back into the dropships, which flew up and into and the bigger flying contraptions that covered the sky.

He sensed Minerva and Severus approaching hurriedly as the hulking shapes above slowly moved away. He grimaced slightly from the pain on his back, before pushing it to the back of his mind, straightening his posture and turning.

"Hello." He greeted them jovially. He smiled at their incredulous expressions, tightly controlled in Severus' case and brimming with fury in Minerva's.

"Albus, you're hurt! What happened? What were these things? Who was that?"

    Albus smiled again.

"Oh? That was Jedi Master Yoda. Lovely fellow."

What he wouldn't give for a camera right now.

Aw snap, I forgot I was supposed to be writing Black/White VS N. I was going to lay claim to Bill Weasley vs The Mummy given, y'know, my dabbling in that domain a while ago, but until I've completed that Pokemon Challenge... hrgh. Maybe once I've finished Jericho's love story.

    Someone hit me with something.

I'm not going to recite my plethora of fandoms again, though.

Okay Rep, you asked for it.

I demand that "Canon Albus Dumbledore vs Dark Lord Albus Dumbledore who joined Grindelwald".

    ...please?

I could write it, but I would not do it justice. My Dumbledore is pathetic. Are you sure?

    Yeah no.

If I ever used any of these it'd start off in the Fight Club but end up belonging in the Motel Rendezvous thread.

I remember you gave this one to me originally, but I won't have time to do it for a month or so . . .

Feel free to reassign it. I'd be willing, it's just that I'm about to graduate so you'd have to wait.
