It was for my prior post. I realized that I was missing a pronoun and that could be taken out of my desired context that he never offered reads every which is untrue in that he offered reasoning for some things. Just not during the whole if Maiden gets lynched I'm next deal.

 

Guys, just wanted to pop in and say I'll likely be MIA for tonight. Some of you know that I had to rush my dog to the vet last night and I haven't really gotten much sleep since, so I just want to relax and not think.
I haven't even gotten a chance to catch up on everything that happened before Twilight ended.

Ika could be scum over this, but it all depends on whether he was able to decipher Lyrium was Seer, he wouldn't have hit her otherwise, he'd have hit any random player. Probably Burk.

That depends on whether she shares daychat with someone who already identified it. I doubt she'd analyzed the entire thread at that point herself, though.

I need to go back and re-read the plan she suggested..

Rereading this plan doesn't townfirm anyone if the seer dies Night 2. This is a horrible plan and seems kinda scummy. Imagine this scenario.

Seer announces target. Seer has announced scum.
Mafia kills someone other than seer. Seer's claim is weakened and get a scum as conf town....Absolutely horrible.

Notice how Titus says Ika or any other seer when the game roles explicitly mention only one seer in every build of the game and isn't hidden.

This makes me think Titus/ika scum team. Titus for the shitty plan and Ika for reasons already stated. Keeping my vote on ika right now because he's had more posting and maybe Titus just had a rare derp.

Sorry this is town ika. Ika as town loves the gambit and protection. While I have to technically admit some possibility of ika scum existing (as he is a damn good PR hunter), scum!ika would logically keep his damn mouth shut and just shoot the seer. Scum ika also tends to be quiet silent and self-aware (see Brass and Tax).

Rubicon, I come up with plans all the time as either alignment. The catch is looking at the plan (supposing it goes as intended) then who benefits, town or scum. Obviously, shooting the seer means my hypothetical plan is moot as it provides no information to anyone. It's obvious none of us are indeed the seer, so it's worthless. My whole plan assumed that scum hadn't caught the seer. Otherwise, I wouldn't have suggested it as it was a waste of time.

We already have half the votes required to lynch and I haven't even gotten through my entire read through of the game to this point. Hell, half the players haven't even posted. Rubicon jumping on this wagon is a hell of an anomaly given he has seen Brass Tax as well.

If it's just that ika claimed seer, that's a poor excuse to lynch a known gambiter.

Actually no, because ika was talking about who he would check before you ever posted your plan, and then when Sloth asked if ika was serious about being Seer you said you'd assumed he was.

I think there's probably at least one scum between you and ika. Right now, I'm interested in his answer to my question because fake-claiming Seer has an obvious benefit to scum. (And no, I'm not interested in you defending ika before he's even come in here and replied to me himself - you doing that at all looks bad.)

 

Titus, if ika had come into the second round quiet and self-aware, he would have been lynched D1, based off the that he was town then and his play was exactly the opposite. Several people commented on the fact that after the roll some of ika's posts seemed forced to try and project the same trolling and exuberance apparent in his first roll play. Your defines based on Brass & Tax doesn't really seem all that applicable here imo.

Beyond that, ika's got a phoney seer claim and active seer hunting to his name, which just looks suspicious anyway you want to look at it, especially with the NK on Lyrium who didn't seem to be actively scum hunting as much as other players with some experience. I don't think she was the logical choice for an NK if the goal was just to take out a good player.

@Rubicon, what made you suddenly "ready" to vote ika? or not ready to vote someone you believe scumslipped?

@ika, I don't see how you're going to prove the group wrong. However, this situation is exactly why I rarely recommend or actually gambit. Most of my actions are direct and straightforward as transparency tends to help most players.

Anyway, I'm down for Rubicon or Snowvon at this point, but Rubicon's motivations seem to track more with scum. Why Snowvon?

compare game one and game 2 of snowvon, game one he was trasparently citizen (its also how we broke it), game 2 he feels more passive and off.

ask yourself, in all the madness, who was most calm? who didnt react much? those are most likely the scumpspects we should look at

I think part of the problem is your playstyle here which you described specifically as "the epitome of anti-town." That's all good if it gets results, but as things stand now, you were one of the earliest Maiden voters and like you said here, you've got no problem going to wifom as a strategy.

Any reasoning from here is going to be circular so unless you've got something compelling to deter a vote on you the situation doesn't look all that great. At least from my perspective. On the bright side, if you were trying to attract the NK then you probably didn't expect to make it to D2 so there's that I guess.
