Snowvon, same question... what do you think of the scumteams in #1225 just add Citrus as a possibility as well? Do you feel I'm barking up the wrong tree with Rubicon TerRaine?

This. I guess it wasn't a question before, but now it is.

How are you working towards the town goal vs. scum goal? As far as today is concerned (and yesterday to an extent), it seems you're much more interested in being considered townish and thus surviving lynches rather than trying to figure out scum in any way

 

Who is that to Citrus? Snowvon?

Skimming through Ter's posts, I could see her being scum. I was already mildly suspicious of Rubicon so maybe I'm just trying to force myself to see the pair. Her D1 posts don't townvince me.

I just made that word up this very second. I probably won't ever use it again.

I'll take responsibility for being bad town, but I didn't ask to disappear. Things stacked up.

Chalk it up to hesitation and complete lack of confidence in my analyses. I froze up a little. I don't like being a bad player and I'm doing what I can to get over my shit.

Citrus, I've been bad town for most of the reroll, yet you were gut townreading me for a long time there. If I'm correct, 1053 is the first time you've called me out on it, and that's very recently.

As I have now located a replacement for Dermon by request and Burkion by default, the game will resume when the clock I posted previously for the postponement (seen here) will be the Day 3 start timer.

Also, I will allow everyone to use their QTs at this time so that new players can get acquainted with the Game and their Mentors as needed.

Mathblade has had a few slips ups throughout the thread. First somehow misses how many wolves there are when it was discussed at length.



443. This gives the idea that maybe Math did not go back to in the thread once she became active because she didn’t NEED previous actions to get reads. She just needed to see the state of the game as is and align herself accordingly. Its possible that acting like she thought there could be 3 scums was a play at seeming Town for now knowing the right amount not realizing this was already revealed.



Panics when its pointed out to her instead of just saying Oh…oops. Sorry theres so much content I just skimmed. I think she says she did so later but the initial knee jerk reaction is “Fuck fuck fuck” in caps I believe….I don’t feel like retyping.



There’s also this placating nature in 473…Math doesn’t even have a wagon on her at this point from whatI can see and shes asking if the time shes allotting her reads is acceptable. If asking to tunnel is a scum tell surely asking if 4 hours are enough time to get your reads in when no one is targeting you would be. And again in 491 she’s hamfisted on being super town the best town that ever towned in townvilled. Even Atum points it out in 494



Snowvon – Went back to the start and read through it all again. Maybe this is just his game play but Snow is PAINFULLY defensive and his posts seem twitchy and strained. He constantly cautions against mislyching him but takes forever and a day to start actively scum hunting outside of Sloth. When I expressed suspicion over his current gameplay in comparison to another game where he’s active and asks questions he dismisses this as sucky game play and in fact seems to rely heavily on self-depreciation when people try to poke him for possible scum.



Something I found odd was post 386 where Snow is defending himself he talks about not wanting to do the Math for how many mislynches we are allowed. This was calculated several times by several players on several pages. Like Math missed the amount of wolves Snow missed this? Even if he just forgot surely he had to remember it happened and would go back. At best this is lazy playing (which I cant imagine someone being worrying over a lynch doing) and at worst a scumtell he hasn’t read the thread.



Also Snow bringing up Prophy’s lack of mentoring seems almost like a play at “oh look at me I’m a harmless newbie I don’t know what I’m doing ergo this explains any mistakes I make” which is in line with the self depreciation. When he’s challenged on it though by I believe Lyr and later Sloth he backwater saying hell get help if he needs it. Why bring it up in the thread at all?



He complains a lot about a double standard and “players” at large but never goes on the attack to tunnel people. He focuses on OTHER people voting way too much.



Possible Snow/Math team?



Snow was utterly against a Maiden vote.



I quote post 465.

“I honestly don't know where people are seeing scum!Maiden. Someone said it was an "easy wagon" and that's certainly what it feels like to me.”



He posts again in 500 and makes no Maiden mention.



Yet come 512 he votes Maiden despite given NO indication on WHY his position changed. The only 2 elements I cans see connection it is Ikas 504 where he invites him to join his Maiden bandwagon and embraces Snow’s returning “fluff.” And the second element is Math dropping his ika vote right before and and indicating a desire to join Ikas bandwagon IF the rest of the vote went that way. Snow joins in given the wagon some momentum and Math waits for Rubi to hop on pages later before its “Safe” and far enough from Snow to join in

The fact that titus died makes me think
A) she was onto something
B) some semblance of a newbie team

I know what I expected from a more experienced player scum team for the night kill and that was not it - was expecting something like a burk kill (null read via inactivity)

 

I still think MathBlade is town but I'm having to adjust my Snowvon read based on yesterday.

TerRaine: Why are Citrus, Atum, and Dermon null in your analysis?

One thing that pings me about your post is the lack of a mention of Titus and having her at the top of the list... 7 minutes after deadline. If you wrote this during night it would be natural to talk about your read of her and/or mention her or LochNess somewhere in there. Why didn't you have something to say about her?
