I almost mentioned Against the Odds but that story is...meh. One of those brotherly/bonding type fics but I feel like Harry doesn't really do anything. He's just...there. Fixing stuff. And having dinner with Naruto. I'll have to check Child of Fire out.

 

The four mentioned stories are the only ones I've read that I thought were any good. I was hoping someone would mention something I'd never come across before.

FanFiction.Net - Not Sick by Ser Serendipity

A good one - published in November 2013 - and with regular updates (last one on May 16 2014). I've used the search engine and didn't find it on DLP, so I hope it hasn't already been suggested.

It's an interesting take on what would have happened had Itachi not been sick and died fighting against his brother. The fighting scenes are excellent, in my opinion, and the writing altogether is very engaging.
