What's that fic where Harry freaks the fuck out on Dung when he find out he's been stealing from Grimmauld place? They're in the Hog's Head or something, Harry pushes Dung around a bit and threatens him, iirc.

I seem to recall that happening early in Deathly Hallows. But that is such a simple description of what you're looking for, so it could be any number of fics.

 

You may be thinking of Teufel1987's Rise of the Wizards (a story which later jumped a tank full of sharks with fricking laser beams attached to their heads).

I think the scene starts with Harry seeing a figure or something and following it, and it turns out to be Dung. It might be snowing, and that's why he can't see who it is. I think Dung tries to run away, and that's why Harry follows him? Sorry I can't provide a more detailed description.

 

Any other recommendation for a Harry who leaves Britain? I enjoyed Escape to Darkness. I wonder why it was abandoned.

A Champions New Hope was decent but yeah, any pairing is cool. I've already gone through The Lie I Lived and Letters, other than that, I can't think of many others.

 

Having just finished reading the "Alabaster & Vermillion" thread in WbA, I find myself with an itch for Harry/femRiddle. I already read the stuff that's been linked on DLP, i.e. Thunderstorm and that other one, "D Minor" I think it's called.

I don't suppose there's any more, is there?

 

I myself looked for more Harry/femRiddle and Harry/femVoldemort a few weeks ago but the only ones I found were on DLP

Huh, never read The Skitterleap. Never even heard of it. Sounds like a decent premise. I'll take that in absence of anything fitting my original request, because quite frankly I'm bored. Thanks A.K.$J6-J5, whatever that username might actually mean.

 

For epic duels try any of nuhuh's fics. He has the best fight scenes in fanfiction IMO.

I can only think of one other story with a female Voldemort, and none where she's paired with Harry.

 

I found one, and it was actually in my watch list (which I was pruning just last night), called "A Beautiful Collision". Sad to say, it hasn't been updated for a while and the author says she hasn't updated it due to writing some stuff for the next few chapters, and then promptly lost it all (she didn't specify how). "ABC"'s got only 3 chapters and it might get updated some time in the future, but for now the author says they lack the motivation to try again with it and there's IRL stuff going on as well.

 

This is a long shot but I remember a story that was titled something like "Tres regret" or "vos regret" or something similar. It was in the library here. Can't remember the storyline at all except that I really enjoyed it. Looked through my favourites and it's not there. Anyone got any leads?
