Maybe, but at the same time can you give me any decent reason why it wouldn't be a good change? A conflict is a part of human nature, or rather differences that lead to it, but a bloodshed is something we could, and are trying very hard, to live without.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know all about social change and the factors therein. But can you honestly tell me that conflict hasn't been and is not a central factor of social progress?

Of course we should strive to avoid violence in all it's forms. But isn't the very act of avoiding violence a drive to address the issues that would cause it? If there was never a threat of violence, what would prevent people from sticking to the status quo? After all, outright violence isn't the only way to hurt someone.

You might argue that violence is no longer necessary in the modern world. Maybe, I don't know. I have my reservations, is all.

Mankind is a complicated beast. There are bad men who wish the world ill and good men who dedicate their lives to bettereing it. There are those who remain indifferent and those that can be driven to action. I guess I can't comprehend all the ways the omission of violence would effect the world. It's an interesting concept, to say the least.

 

The problem is there are plenty of ways to make life harder or miserable or even kill someone without ever making a fist.

I always found it one of the best parts of the series that the end result of Kiritsugu's wish was the extinction of mankind.

 

Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that the removal of strict violence would most likely benefit the mankind.

granted, I haven't seen Ilya's image in there, but the rest seem awfully similar, so, could be either one, really. Pretty sure those are from Ufotable, too, so, maybe there is that.

 

I rather doubt it will be a simple remake of Fate route because how many remake anime exist? It will be either HF or a mix of all three focusing on HF for new scenes that weren't in previous adaptations.

Actually I've heard that it's going to be a brand new route, Nasu was supposedly even in on it.

Anyway, scene in trailer 2 with Gilgamesh staring at Sakura = Heaven's Feel I'm pretty sure. Could also be a completely new route if Cruentus is right, but at least we know it's not Fate or UBW.

 

I didn't like HF as much as UBW. So hopefully a new route.

 

I have yet to get through Heaven's Feel, it's so frustrating. And I've tried so many times that it feels like I have some sort of mental block to actually completing the damn thing at this point.

I'm half hoping that the anime is Heaven's Feel done incredibly well so I can finally get the full story.

No matter what route it ends up as, though, I'm really excited to see Fate/Stay Night animated so well.

Ahem. Original anime was Fate route, movie was UBW route. I wouldn't be surprised to see Heaven's Feel route here.
