Original anime was an attempt to bring elements of UBW and Heaven's Feel into Fate. That's why it was all over the place and crap.

I still haven't read UBW or HF. I just can't get into the VN at all. Really find the narrative boring. Only finished Fate. That's why I'm hoping for HF adaption.

A new route could be good too though.

I'd rather it be anything other than the travesty known as the Heaven's Feel Route. It's literally the worst Route to show off Emiya Shirou's Character.

Or at least, it's the one you can't quite fully understand the significance of without knowledge of the other two routes.

And that's just on the storytelling, not my personal opinion of the HF, which can be summed up as, "Would be good if not for Sakura."

Sakura is the worst heroine, but HF is definitely the most interesting Route.

 

I'm banking on this being Heaven's feel or some variation of it. If you look in the first trailer there is a scene with Shirou's arm covered by archer's shroud. In the second you have the scene with Gil and Sakura.

Would be happy with an HF adaption for this one. Then again, the idea of Nasu coming back to Fate/stay night and creating a new route in an anime form is awesome on multiple levels.

 

It's probably gonna be a mix of all 3ish routes from the look. I mean, Shriou even has a new swagtastic coat.

 

It could also be that he turned over the various unfinished content that didn't make the game, like most of Casters route(iirc, some of it was added into HF,) which would explain the new content from Nasu without him actually having gone back to writing Fate.

 

As long as Saber is treated right I have no complaints. The only real reason I didn't like HF is because Saber was dealt such a bad hand.

But apparently the TV show will be Unlimited Blade Works, and there will also be a Heaven's feel film. There's also something about about a "Fate" companion app but I'm not sure.

 

This is a pretty inarguable one.

 

My understanding is that the iOS and android app is a port of the fate route from the VN.

 

From what I have been told, there are talks about HF getting multiple movies (since they termed it "Theatrical Anime", like they did for Kara no Kyoukai, rather than "Theatrical Feature"), but nothing is confirmed yet.

Hf is getting a 2 hr movie, Ubw is getting a series. Justice has been served.

 

This is going to be awesome. A proper UBW adaptation is long overdue. The rumor is Heaven's Feel is going to be a series of movies, not just a 2-hour adaptation. I don't know how true that is, but even if it was just one 2-hour movie with Ufotable at the helm it would be a damn sight better than the previous UBW movie.

The only real loser here are the fans of the Saber route who will just have to make do with Deen's adaptation.

 

So freaking pumped.

Hope you're right, and HF gets 3 movies instead of just 2 hours. Lot of content to put into a single movie.

And yeah, looks like Fate will be getting something for iOS/Android. Wonder if that just means something along the lines of a web-release style anime series.

Edit: Actually looking at the site, I get the feeling that the iOS/Android thing is just a free release of the Fate route for the Realta Nua version of the VN.

 

So any word on a release date? I thought I saw 10/4/2014 in the kanji on the screen, but I don't know. And is it being simultaneously released in America like Fate/Zero was?
