Imagine my post count if I didn't live in a different timezone to every other person in this game?

This is basically my issue with Vira's posts too. When she's town she is more direct, in your face proactive with scumhunting. She doesnt just post a list of reads and say any questions.

What do you think about Fonti?

Additional thoughts: She's being loud and is trying to put clues together on one of the hardest Days to make analysis work corretly. She's mid-high on my Town-to-Scum list.

The feeling is basically "are those four trying to subtly remove a strong town player or are they trying to push for a scum lynch. Unfortunately I'm not sure enough with so little data. I just noticed that there are three people pushing/tunneling hard on one player on Day 1 when that's really hard to substantiate. Leaves me wondering, especially if Fonti is lynched and Town.

"are those three" not four, sorry.*

Do you agree or disagree with my statement that she put in the bare minimum effort to make you smile and nod (wrt GD claim) ?

Do you think that the actions she took could have realistically achieved the goals she stated for them?

I'm not saying that she was incorrect to ask for the GD claim, but her reaction to me saying she went about it poorly was telling.

I agree that she put in a minimum of effort, I don't know if that was just to get me to smile and nod. No to the second question.

Citrus, I expect more posting from you now that the issue is resolved.

As for your questions, synergy is for agreements posted at the same time impulsively. If you look at the timestamps, we were typing posts simultaneously.

Riley's behavior is off and he could do that stuff as town.

---------- Post automerged at 06:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:40 AM ----------

His responses about me being unable to read a joke are plausible, so he's just a weaker scumread now.

---------- Post automerged at 06:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:41 AM ----------

If you have a player who cannot realistically achieve their stated goal, and they are a very seasoned player, shouldn't that tell you they had a different gosl entirely?

---------- Post automerged at 06:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:43 AM ----------

I forgot #338 for Citrus. Passing to scum and an obvtown dies, we traded an obvtown for scum info. By passing to nulls, we get the same thing without risking obvtowns as scum would want an exitt hatch.

Because all the cool kids did it

    Won't lynch: Snowvon, Lyrium

Rather not lynch: Titus, Ika, blab, rubicon

Don't want to lynch today: Fonti, Polysemous

Willing to lynch: Kai, klackerz, citrus, riley

    want to lynch: Lucky, atum

---------- Post automerged at 02:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:46 PM ----------

    Or they are just wrong.

Bill, how likely is that? Fonti should know what is likely to achieve her stated objective. Yet she picks something unlikely to do that. Isn't it more likely her objective is something else entirely?

Rubicon: The majority of my posts are attempts to convince people, but you're probably scum and Titus is a lost cause. I don't see a reason to converse with you. If you haven't noticed, I've posted my reasons already. If you want something more comprehensive on one of them, ask for it.

Luckylee: I think I've only made one, but it wasn't a true xanatos gambit.

You sound like me going after Zeit in Witchhunt 3, but at least put the effort in to reacting to other things in that game.

Do you see how the demand for a claim is very short? That's because I was posting it from a borrowed phone in the middle of a roadtrip. I assumed my message of an immediate roleclaim was clear, as Vira was the only one to not get it and when she didn't get it, I immediately jumped in and corrected her. When the roleclaim failed to come, you'll notice that I progressively posted more reasons to get it to happen.

What exactly do you think I retroactively changed my reasoning from? Now, have you read the rest of the game or are you just latching onto one easy thing at the very beginning? What do you think of Vira's posts?

Oh, and I've never roleclaimed or even hinted at my role.

Bill: Finding the Riley Poole stuff now.

I didn't say it was likely, just possible. Never assume competence.

I'm convinced it was originally just a normal picture and he only recently changed it to a gif.

    Right.

I'm reading into what you may have done here and I think you almost certainly would have brought it up and provided reasoning if fontisian hadn't beaten you to the punch.

It's probably a good idea to use the 24 or 48 hour extension here.

Previous games of this size tend to die down significantly by day 4-5 anyway, so we don't have that many chances to make use of the larger ones.

use 24 hour or larger extension

    /extension request acknowledged

Reminder: Two players need to request the extension to be considered, and it may be denied regardless at the mod's discretion.

    Use 24 hour extension

Bill, you have to suppose players act according to what they know. My argument is a burden of knowledge argument, not one of competence. Fonti should pick s plan that is likely to achieve her goals from her PoV. She didn't. Success or failure is irrelevant.

    @Bill:

I can't honestly recall the last time I played Mafia with lyrium (Sorry Lyrium, it's me, not you). That said, her aggro is part and parcel with the Titus/Kai pressure on font.

if I were in that position I'd be more frustrated by a three way tag team on a town member than I would at her aggro.

I really don't want to make too many assumptions until we have a lynch of some kind so we can analyze wagons and statements.

I will not do a "won't, will, must" lynch wall toDay. I'm not a cool kid. Sorry. It'll happen next Day though for sure.

@ika: what percentage of those role hints are actually hints and what percentage are trolling?

    But my plan did work?

You're thinking to linearly. The positive outcome in this case is that we got a very likely town player. In another case it might have caught a witch. I don't understand how you can think it didn't work.
