@Riley, you just outright asked ika to claim. It's not your intention but that is what you did. Just remember, the truth is in the troll. What are you thinking of Fonti?

@Fonti, your rolefish did nothing to townfirm anyone. It was not likely to catch scum or townfirm everyone. I am guessing to meant Lyrium as the townfirm, but people townread het before she claimed. Besides, townfirming wasn't your plan to begin with, it was catching scum.

Titus: I didn't have one specific outcome I'm going for. A town!player being too cautious to claim until everyone weighed in was just as much a possibility as scum!claiming preemptively because I told them to or newbie scum fucking up by having the wrong player claim gravedigger. They're all good outcomes.

Fonti, sgain these "good outcomes" have NOTHING to do with your plan. Nor does it matter that yoyr plan may generate goid outcomes even. It is sbout achieving your stated objective. Your plan did nothing of the sort. Anyone can add "good outcomes" ex post facto.

But my stated objective is a good outcome for the town. Why should I limit it?

Vira's posts basically fit with what I expect out of her - passive and somewhat air-headed. I understand that you have different expectations but to me that's neither here nor there.

Ok sure, you had reasons for posting as you did, but even then I don't see any sort of urgency in your posts even though the play you were supposedly making is far better in pregame.

Here's your 'case' against Vira. Readability added by me, you're welcome.

    1) Vira wasn't the only one who initially supported the GD claim without further justification.

The highlighted red bit is stretching it.

To me, this reads like someone with a limited understanding of the game working through their position on a subject.

Did you wake up one day with all of the implications of a pregame GD claim in your head? Or did you find them out through discussions and experiences in-game with other players?

Lambasting someone for not having the same level of understanding that you do is laughable.

    2) "The witch card told me to do this", ok. Putting this one in the dumpster where it belongs.

    3) Yeah this one can go in the trashcan too.

    4) Already replied to this.

    1. Vira agreed with my call for an immediate claim. She later back off and called for a Day 2 or later claim instead. If anything, her position was much less clear then mine. She had a limited understanding of the subject, but she also tried to act like had a greater understand, hence the "fourthing" comment.

2.She was thinking about narrowing down the priest as her only reason for a GD claim. She did not consider the possibility of a scum!GD. Since the GD is likely town, that's suspicious. Do you deny that?

    3. Again, she was not looking at the game from a town perspective.

    4. "Passive and somewhat airheaded" is not a defense, and I have found Vira to be a competent player in the past.

Are you going to react to anything beyond the GD claim?

If I said offering to pay for you to go to the moon with Richard Branson would immediately reveal yhe scumteam would you believe it was plausible? No. It's more likely I am stalling the thread. Anyone can SAY their objectives are good for town, but we look at the likelihood.

Your out the gravedigger had no relation to catching newbscum. It's pretty obvious scum have next to no reason to fakeclaim.

Your real objective was rolefishing and outing roles only helps yhe scums.

    Fonti case in minimal words

    1. Rolefishing
    2. Whiteknighting actives
    3. Goals do not rationslly relate to stated objectives
    4. Fonti's discrediting (I make no sense, Boc on Vira, etc.)

@Bill: Titus and Kai with a little bit of Lyrium earlier on.

@Titus: not really, I asked if he was trolling us. It's a stupid idea to do the hint crap so I want to hold him accountable for it. If I want to ask directly I'm perfectly capable of typing out the words.

For Instance: "Titus, you lied about being the bomber. What's your real role"

Obviously you won't and shouldn't respond to that, but that's basically me asking for a role.

    1. That.... doesn't mean whatever it is you think it means. By fourthing, I'm 99% sure she meant that she counted herself as the 4th person to support a GD claim.

    2. Ok I'm just gonna quote her post and maybe you'll find yourself capable of reading it this time.

Again, what you think Vira said and what Vira actually said are two different things.

Granted, she didn't mention the effects on/of a scum!GD, but she isn't on the same level as you are. Again, it's absolutely laughable that you expect others to have the same level of expertise that you do*.

    3. Or you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

    4. Competent, ok. I'm not sure why you're expecting her to be you though.

    * - note that this isn't something unique to your interaction with Vira, you do it in #46 to Titus when you say Titus is missing the point.

    That you never made.

    That you never hinted at.

This is not fantasystrike.com - this is not a site full of people who play WH style games near exclusively. Yet you're acting like everybody should know the same things you do.

    Think about it.

Riley, I wasn't getting upset bc you weren't intending that. I understand ika's ploy but cannot explain it without outing. You were not intending to ask that but you were.

@Lucky: I'm more suspicious of fonti than I have an actual scum read on her tbh. Her town reads worry me both because I don't agree with klackerz and can't get her reasoning. She also defends them really heavily overall in terms of word choice, as though they're undoubtedly town, but when it's mostly meta and word choice I became concerned. Especially when she took so long to post reasons for those town reads and because based off some of the advice she gave me as a mentor I expected her play to be more logical/analytical. Her scum reads do follow that more however, I like her argument on Vira, though the second point in #607 wasn't what I took from that quote.

Bill Door I can't read really. On the one hand he seemed to be fairly active and effective early on in terms of scum hunting, but on the other hand he's wrong. To me, scum hunting as town and scum are probably similar, especially this early in the game, so the only way I think I could tell beyond a slip is when I know someone is wrong about a read. That may also be paranoia from having played with Sloth as scum in Werewolf.

@fontisian: If you were waiting on me for something, I don't know what it is.

@Bll Door: Poly was only in the don't lynch category because fonti pointed out he was new. So I don't want to lynch him D1. I said earlier that I wasn't sure about the fourth scum, but PoE brings it down to Rubicon, fontisian, you, Lucky, and maybe Riley, though fontisian isolating his scum hunting has moved him to lean town for me.

Atum, put your money where your mouth is. Your passage is lean town but suspicious. Suspicious doesn't jibe with lean town. Talk it out.

I will be back later. While I am gone, ask yourselves...would I vote this behavior if it was anyone but Fonti?

@Bill Door: What made you agree with the request for a 24-hour extension? And why are you hesitant to lynch fonti toDay?

Because it was 8am where I am and my coffee hadn't kicked in. I meant Lyrium in the original post. Sorry for the confusion there.

Time extensions are more valuable the earlier in the game it is because more people are able to talk during them. Don't want to lynch fonti today for a meta reason that would be less useful if I said it.
