I'm not entirely sure what prompted it. There's been a lot of hush hush talk between lots of players concerning role and such, and since I'm not rolehunting (as if I could) nor is it really a good idea to discuss everyone's roles, I don't really know what to say about it?

Okay, so on the one hand, I would expect fontisian to at least try to convince me here as scum. This looks like commitment to maintaining the ambiguity and WIFOM around it, for whatever reason, which would be town. On the other hand, I keep going back to her original statements as something that just doesn't fit a town mindset, and she's not doing anything to convince me otherwise. Nor has she made any attempt to defend klackerz on other grounds even though I asked. So - fontisian, what should I do here in your opinion?

Like, thinking about Sloth last game. Good scum players can be 99% consistent and give themselves away with little things that don't fit. And I'm hypersensitive to that now for obvious reasons. That's what this looks like to me.

As for other reads, my town bloc of people who i town-read and feel confident in my ability to read is me, Lyrium, klackerz, ika, Atum. I am wholly unwilling to lynch any of these players today.

Klackerz because he said something about fontisian's read on him, which looked like town logic in response to finding himself in that weird situation, and because he's probably town relative to fontisian no matter her alignment. (They're not both scum, and if fontisian IS town just doing something extremely weird, I'm willing to take her word for it.)

ika is by meta, because he's scumhunting, because he's writing his posts on the assumption that everyone else town-reads him. Also his assumption about cards and pressure on Titus for it looked sincere.

Atum because he defended himself too well to be scum, and I pretty much just liked his attempts to figure fontisian out. (Speaking of fontisian: You mentored him in AYAW2. Do you think he's playing differently? In what way? Be specific. Also I'm hiding this question down here to see whether you really read this post.)

Riley Poole is probably town too by meta but he can't join the bloc because I think he's self-aware of his own town meta, and has had enough time to integrate it into his scum play in order to convince the people who know him. blab reminded me of this earlier. My impression is that he's been kind of a non-presence in the thread since the first few hours of day. I'll re-read his posts later to see what I think.

Until I see a completed forum scum game from Snowvon, I'm going to read everything he writes with extreme paranoia, but I think he's town here. Counterarguments: There was a post he made much earlier in the day doubtcasting at Lyrium and fontisian while calling them both town that bugged me, but it does fit with paranoia of them. I didn't like the way he characterized the wagon on fontisian as her being over-defensive, either.

I have a few ideas about how to read Titus which have been working out in some other games I've watched her in. Here, her attitude in approaching the game feels different from B&T, and she's not doing one or two tells I look for in her scum game. Also, bomber.

I liked Polysemous' post where he explained his reaction to being called scum as a newbie mistake of overreacting. That said, his votes and arguments have been really bad and more than a few steps too far for me to call him newbie town instead of newbie scum. I would lynch Polysemous.

Bill Door is more active than he usually is as scum, but I don't know how meaningful that is at this point. In all honesty I haven't read all his posts so I can't really point out specifics. I gut vibe him as scummy and was really put off by his interactions with fontisian at the start, need to go check how that progressed.

Citrus pinged me with his catch-up because it looked like ika's catch-up in B&T and Proph's catch-up in WIFOM -- responding to to old things and asking questions which were answered later in the thread: that is, caring more about being seen catching up than about about discovering answers to his questions.

I do think Vira was scummy, and would be willing to vote Kai if fontisian wasn't being so ugh. KaiDASH' shift off her could pretty easily be an attempt to shift her attention and give her what she wants. I get what he's saying about how she approached the GD claim, but think that's a pretty tiny part of fontisian's play to center a read on anyway. His reactions are good, but...

blab is scumhunting at a different level entirely from B&T and (this is weaker but) his trolling looks like town confidence as compared to his B&T play which struck me as focused on seeming towny. I still need to go through his posts in more detail though.

Luckylee is super scum but I'm not going to say why right now. What's up, Lucky. Are you going to shoot me??

In conclusion,
Lyrium, klackerz, ika, Atum town bloc.
Riley, Snowvon, Titus, blab look town but can swap in as backup scum reads if it comes to it.
fontisian, Kai, Polysemous, Citrus, Bill Door as scum.
Lucky scum as well but I don't think I can get the votes on him today so I'll deal with him tomorrow.

Don't ask whether XYZ statement is self-aware scummy / dumb, consider why I said it and what I was trying to achieve. Track my motivation and the progression of my thoughts, look for whether my posts serve me more as town or as scum.

You guys bring up B&T a lot, but forget one MAJOR thing about that game. I can be majorly bullshitting and not have an ability upon death, just like I lied about my Vig ability as town. The whole "I have a plan/I know the scum team!" was me mocking Blab and Fonti because they irritated me.

And yeah, I tired playing this game seriously and scum hunting, but it dragged on for 50+ pages and I got really annoyed/bored. Fonts is still scum, and I'd love to lynch her.

Oh and Bill, I've got a solid town read on you now. I noticed something, but I won't bring it up.

KaiDash, I'm less sure about because lack of meta. However, his interactions with Fontisian and the strange reaction to lynch one\bomb the other one and their sudden joining together at the hip against a Rubicon lynch (they tried for Citrus and some others before that) doesn't make sense.

Fontisian town!firmed all the active players. KaiDash scum!firmed the more lurky players. Fontisian has far to many awkward interactions.

My instinct is lynch of Fontisian the witch will save town a lot of hassle. Town is dragging its feet and scum are trying to derail. KaiDash is next on the list.
