I'm generally not the biggest fan, and I haven't played the others, but that gameplay demo I saw at the Sony press conference was pretty fucking spectacular.

It had a sense of movement and freedom that I've come to expect from infamous without making Batman anything other than what he is.

Early 2015 is shaping up to be a life destroyer...

 

I really hope Scalebound ends up getting ported to PC as I'm trying to refrain from buying an Xbox this gen. There's a chance since Dead Rising 3 was also supposed to be an Xbox exclusive but the PC port has already been announced.

The trailer's only a small part of it for me. I've enjoyed everything Platinum Games has put out except for Wonderful 101 and I'm sure I'll enjoy it once the Wii U has enough good games out to justify the purchase.

 

I've done a google search about this. Found nothing so far. Tried searching 'week old' news, tried searching 'month old' news. Tried different word choices. But I can find nothing about the 3, Reach, and 4 servers going down.

Phil Spencer is annoyingly decent and competent. Makes hating Microsoft slightly less fun.

Especially in regards to women in games. It seems like every time there's a male protagonist these days, there's the inevitable 'why isn't he a girl' question.

In regards to Aonuma basically saying one of LoZ's charms is the title versus the fact that Link is always the main character, and that should that change, maybe the title would have to (the implication being, The Legend of Link, btw, not that it's impossible).

That's okay though, questioning designers is only wrong when it's not causally racist and it's western developers (ME3).
