I'm back, been strangely busy getting ready for college/upcoming internship. I'll be more regular, I promise.

Anyway, I think Poly scum is likely since this is the sort of thing I think new scum would fall back on, i.e. pure defensive posting + doubtcasting strong players. However, I think if Poly is scum then there are two scum alive, suggesting either Fonti was town or Lyrium is scum. He's too ready to be lynched, it doesn't seem like he thinks the game will end afterwards.

@Polysemous: Have you given your scum team and reads yet? I've been asking for a while.

@Snowvon: Have your reads changed from #2064?

 

Von what do you make of Titus's claims? Why haven't you been more assertive considering your extra life. As Surv your goal is to provoke scum into nking you as to waste a kill. Ie hard scum hunting imo. So why are you being passive?

 

So if anyone can read this, I'm not seeing posts past #2460, including my own , though the Little Italy page shows more recent entries. I am working to resolve this issue.

Atum, I answer in nearly every post. At this point I thought Bill/Titus a likely scum team. Bill is now back to veering in questioninable territory but Titus I am sure of. If not Bill, then you're my only other slight scumread Atum (maybe klackerz teeters at the edge but I am confident he's town. If he's scum then Bill is town)

Bill, what's the evidence *against* me? Do you care to point that out? Besides Rubicon/Fontisian doing a decent thing and not being willing to lynch a newbie Day 1.

If we all think Titus is scum, why are we not lynching her? I can't see scum!snowvon like she claims, that's just crazy talk!

Actually, as sad as it makes me, your reasoning for wanting me judge lynched today are pretty sound Bill. If you really think 2 \in (Me, Titus, Klackerz) are scum with no other info, the best option would be to sic the judge on the fanatic you think has two lives.

So yeah, I don't have a way to prove I don't have two lives.

I'm pretty sure that we can vote to no lynch to speed the day up.

 

Why speed the day up? More discussion helps better scum hunting. @Bill: the strangeness can be attributed to my newness to the game.

The thing is that I'm not a fan of newbies rolling scum or being put in scum slots. It's kind of mean and I'll probably do some super!rant against it if Poly is scum. There should be a rule against that.

If the town feels that Polysemous is the best lynch today, okay then but provide some solid reasons. I want actual reasons for him being scummy. Make a case so its clear.

Poly, I do like your idea of how to figure out who is scum with Citrus and Rubicon. Do you have any ideas based on that?

I think blab would have checked Titus, Bill or Atum. I would have checked Bill or Lucky.

Why did Citrus waste a NK on himself? What plan was it beyond the fact that since Dresden he had some sort of thing for scum NKing one of their own to nefarious purposes.

Why did he claim Survivalist?

Probably to help scum narrow down roles but with active players why not kill an outed townie (such as ika or Lyrium) and save that gambit for another day?

 

While it does suck when newbies roll scum in their first game, I was scum in my first two games and that was not the best start to my mafia career, you can't make a rule to stop it because that just breaks the game.

 

Right that doesn't preclude you from making a case against him?

 

@Poly, I'm not certain Snowvon is scum, far from it. I'm just not certain he's town. I'm trying to see if we can prove him town with the time.

@Lyrium, witch trick was used. Citrus had an extra life. If Blab hadn't copped him, we would have possibly had to kill him twice.

Also, on the cop check, the minute we decided against Lucky's plan, was the minute we condemned Blab to death. Blab would have checked Poly if he had a townread on Poly. Arguendo, Blab did not have a townread on Poly (which makes it more likely Poly is scum) OR Poly is scum and lying about not having an extra life.

 

With blab dead the witches have no reason to use the card Shenanigans. They now have the card Backup Plan at the least.

With two villagers dead, Angels have Heavenly Chorus and Archangel.

Titus, yes in hindsight but we weren't sure about Lucky. There's a lot of weird interactions between him Citrus, Rubicon, Fontisian, and BillDoor.

Sometimes overthinking messes. When looking over Citrus's posts I underlined his mention of witch trick but then I wrong!thinked myself with, "Scum wouldn't be that obvious, would they? Why?"

I'm trying to figure out Snowvon and having trouble because he is more laid back and avoids conflict. I hope he's town because Survivalist makes it to end game with two lives vs. a one life scum is a town advantage

If the majority of town feels fine with Poly lynch, okay. It would be nice to have reasons but at this point....I've thinked myself into a corner.

I don't know why she's thinking so much about a scenario nearly everyone has said is the least likely.

Assertiveness isn't my forte. Now that I've claimed, I don't think scum are going to worry about me until the last one remains because otherwise I'm going to be a pain to get rid of.

Bad. Totally bad question. It basically allows scum to avoid Bill to save themselves or if someone else flips, then Bill looks bad as he didn't keep his word to have Person X on the top of his list.
