What an amazing finale. This show is ridiculous.

The fight scene with Slade where they cut back and forth between timelines was brilliant.

And don't feel bad, Slade. I fell for the Ollicity bait too. I fell hard

The Flash - 5 Minute Extended Trailer

 

That looks awesome. I just hope they didn't throw in a major spoiler with that 'run around in the opposite direction' thing.

Edit: Also, that ball of lightning seems to be both red and yellow. Lends credence to the whole theory about

Professor Zoom and Flash time travelling and fighting, and Flash saving his younger self, which is how he found himself so far away. Edit: Except... rewatching it, the yellow light is what deposits him so far away, so...

 

Running in circles to counter tornados/explosions/whatever is like his signature move. Happened all the time in the comics.

So not really a spoiler.

 

Wow! That episode was absolute fantastic and I can only imagine the kind of hell that Slade will raise if he ever becomes the main villain in another season. Or how awesome it will be to see him as a sort of anti-hero while working for Argus. My only real complaint about this episode was Laurel receiving the Canary jacket as I was hoping that they were going to keep Sara as the Black Canary and just have her come back to Starling whenever she could. Plus I dislike Laurel so giving her an even bigger role as Black Canary will get annoying.

Also, Flash looks like it's going to be sweet! I love how trailer shows us that Arrow and Flash are going to have characters showing up in the other shows episodes at various points throughout the season. Plus Oliver acting as a quasi-mentor to Barry will be fun to watch.

Wow, I managed to miss the link already provided. Anyway, pretty excited for the Flash show now. Hopefully lightning can strike twice (or thrice, technically) and it can be at least half as good as Arrow.

 

The pilot for Flash is absolutely brilliant.

The first episode was leaked and spread around to various places. I have it downloaded, but haven't watched it yet.

 

From where? And is it safe?

Someone uploaded it to Mega. I hope it's safe, otherwise I'm in trouble.

It was a good episode, I look forward to seeing that without horrible interlacing later in the year.

 

It was better than arrow's pilot, espesialy liked the speciel effect, though ending was bit confusing.

 

The obvious implication is that Wells is Thawne (Harrison Wells for H G Wells), being a descendant of Eddie Thawne, who'd just be a decoy of some sort. It's obvious enough that it might be subverted, but on the other hand Wells' placement puts him in a fantastic position to 'mentor' Barry while simultaneously fucking him over.

There are some alternate theories, one I saw was that Wells was the Martian Manhunter, travelling back in time to form the Justice League. That one's significantly less likely, though, especially given the stated casualties of the accident he caused, something that Zoom wouldn't care about but J'onn would. Not to mention that J'onn's a bit too crazy for this universe, at least for now. Outside of his fire thing, he's arguably superior to Superman.

Then, of course, there's the article. Apart from teasing some sort of 'crisis' (a hint at the Crisis on Infinite Earths where Barry dies in an attempt to damage the Anti-Monitor), it also mentions Wayne Tech and red skies, clear allusions to the existence of both Bruce Wayne and Superman in this universe.

 

Saw pilot. Loved pilot. Still somewhat cheesy. Less cheesy than Arrow's pilot. Better acting. Better special effects. Annoying love triangles make an appearance. Screw you CW.

After days of resisting, I finally gave in and watched the pilot. And I loved it. And now I have to wait at least three months before it actually comes on

It has a few problems, mostly it's a bit cheesy in spots and a few things happened way too fast (pun unintended), but overall it was pretty good. I love Grant Gustin as the Flash. I can't wait. Fall is going to rock!

 

Love Arrow. You guys convinced me to watch it and I blew threw all the episodes in a few weeks. Laurel... so sexy hot in season 1, something changed in her face season 2, and I just couldn't give two damns about her once they turned her super bitchy.

Flash... I'd like it more if they had modernized his suit more. The helmet and emblem.. just too much for me.

 

I think they're going to do changes to the suit throughout the series. Like Oliver and his mask.
