Sadly they do, I feel embarrased sometimes going into grocery stores and buying some things there. Even normal everyday items, some grocery clerks make me feel small and stupid.

Seriously, Harpy Prince has a point, I may be a girl (so it's fun for me to go into gamestop and ask questions to those hot girls because half the time they don't know what the heck is going on.) but send me into Victoria's Secret, Hot Topic, Black and White House Market, or any other overpriced clothing store, and if there's a guy working there I want to hide because I feel supremely embarrassed about it. Harpy Prince has every reason to feel intimedated going into a gamestop with a chick at the counter.

 

Erm, if you find a guy working at a women's/fashion-orientated clothes store, you'll found they're generally gay or act camp so you've really got nothing to fear.

Really what it comes down to is how secure you are about yourself. You may be lacking confidence or something if you're affraid what someone thinks of you for asking about a game or whatever. I know I was like that asking about a game two years ago because of a hot chick at the counter, i remember i couldn't think and became like a dumbass, I ended up buying a game that was not so great because there were no reviews at the time for it unfortunatly. I think I've gotten over any fear of that crap now. the name of that game was Breakdown by the way, which sucked major donkey dick.

I got over it by focusing on the gym, eating better, and getting bigger. All the self control gained actually improved my study habbits sleeping habbits and helped with my self confidence. Funny thing is, People I havn't seen in a long time always make comments about how good you look and you start to believe it. Girls flirt with me all the time compared to when i was skinny or maybe i flirt with them, whatever.

 

I just don't give a shit. I'm not a comics or video-gaming guy, so i haven't been in that situation, but the point is, that even if she laughs at you with her eyes, take solace from the fact that you will undoubtedly succeed in life when compared to her.

Until she marries a millionaire. Perhaps you, if you play your cards right. Or if she's stupid enough to beleive that you're a millionaire.

Who said Lifting weights has anything about being macho. I actually am trying to gain a few more pounds, so when I become a police officer or correctional officer I can fock someones shit up and defend myself. A side effect of being bigger is more attention is drawn to you. I don't think you should just go judging people before you know them, usually thats a sign of insecurity.

There are some girls at the gym, who just go there to get attention, who honestly works out in hot pants and spandex? I prefer to call them STD carriers, I actually clean the machines if I use a machine after them, since they usually grease the machine with perfume and hand cream. I think those are the types you are describing. I don't know where you live, but usually a girl working at game crazy or some shit, making only $6.75, can't afford botox injections or a boob job or whatever.

My bad i thought you were making a joke about lifting weights, although it is true to some extent. Most gyms require gym towels and to wipe off the equipment, unfortunatly it's not enforced, but they have like windex bottles filled with disinfectent placed in strategic locations. I heard a guy was using a machine and there was some type of acid on the bench that ate through his skin and clothes.

Some females that go to the gym arn't there for the workout. It is very clear too since they wear skimpy clothes and are resting more than they are lifting they also wear smelly shit that sweats onto machines. Sometimes they just do wierd shit like step arobics and wierd bendy stretchy exercises that acomplish nothing, except distract me. My gym segregates men and women too, so if there is women in the guys area, you know they are looking for some cock. The only thing you can do is look the other way and ignore it. I'm sure you have seen the girls on the street running in a sports bra. They are basically the type that workout in the guys gym area.

 

I honestly don't care if it's a hot chick, a fat ugly chick that looks like she hasn't had sex in 30 years, or a guy that sells me my games; at the end of the day, we're paying their wages so there is no point to being embarrased.

Perhaps a few years ago (like, 20) it would have been embarasing for there to be a hot chick working at a store, but these days video games are part of popular culture and there are many female gamers. I find this thread rather sexist really...I mean, girls don't complain about there being hot guys at the counter do they?

 

Indeed I must agree with you there Taure. Sure people usually associate geeky guys when it comes to playing video games or working at video game stores, but as he said, thats being sexist. Gender should not matter when it comes to video games, its a form of entertainment that was ment for anyone to enjoy.

I don't understand how this thread can be associated with sexism. It's not a bashing thread saying that women have no business in video games or even working like I've seen in other forums. It's actually empowering women with their ability to make me feel insecure. I guess it was just the area I lived. The only time a women would be in a video game store where I live was if I had brought a GF or some other dude brought his. Suddenly girls start working there and I'm nervous of messing up the first impression by bringing The Neopets game or something like that. I don't know I've asked other guys about this and they agreed. I guess this site has the most self secure men in the world.

 

I agree with crazy1. I really couldn't care less, it's not like im ever going to see them again after i live the shop so who cares what they think? Although, i do care if its "a fat ugly chick that looks like she hasn't has sex in 30 or years" because, quite frankly, fat women can be both disturbing and frightening at times. I don't mean normal, overweight women, i mean guiness book of records 'world's heaviest woman' type people.

Truthfully dude get over it. I occaionally have a *wussy* game amoung the stacks of bloody games, like half-life 2 or F.E.A.R but im not giving a shit if thry have "a laugh in their eyes" i just want to get home and play my game.
