I keep thinking the fic had something to do with thestrals and there was the Latin word "Lux" in the title, but maybe my early days of fanfiction reading are blending together.

 

I recently read Twist of fate, and its given me a craving for fics featuring Harry in the 1930s, Harry as Tom Marvalo Riddles brother, and fics that feature Both Harry and Grindewald, and I`ll tell you I stumble across the fic your looking for

 

I started reading this story...it's a very interesting take on a new idea. I actually like this story!

 

The explanation of time travel gets a little bit hard to follow

 

Today I stumbled upon a hp/anime xover and read it out of boredom. Surprisingly I didn't immediately hate it. I actually found myself enjoying Harry being in a new and strange world that isn't bogged down with the usual honorifics and unlocking the hidden potential (at least on Harry's part) nonsense that usually ruins anime for me. So I thought that there must be other fics I'm missing out on through my prejudice for anime.

Can someone recommend a xover that serves as an introduction to the other universe, does not over use Japanese honorifics and is about something else than Harry unlocking some hidden power? Doesn't necessarily have to be anime I would love to read a intro xover to some other book series as well. After all Denarian knight is what turned me onto Dresdenverse.

 

Fictional served as an introduction into the Nasuverse for me. Aside from that, I would recommend you to try crossovers with anime that aren't set in Japan (Hellsing, Black Lagoon, Baccano, etc).

 

I'm looking for a HP fic that I read a while ago.

The story was a one shot that was set 500+ years in the future, and was written as a report from a magical archaeology team.

The report talked about two sites that were excavated. One of the sites was Dumbledore's tomb. The other was a house, which contained two preserved bodies. It's pretty obvious to the reader that the house was Harry's, though it's not stated in the story, which just refers to him as "The Caretaker". The second preserved body seems to be his wife.

Does anyone remember reading anything like this? I thought I had saved it on my harddrive, but a lot of searching has tuned up absolutely nothing. Google hasn't been overly helpful either, as I can't seem to get the right keywords. I'm also not sure what site I found the story on.

Any help finding this evasive little fucker of a story is appreciated.

Read this story where Harry nominates Dumbledore as MoM after Voldemort kills off Fudge and Dumbledore takes Harry to meet Grindrlwald where Harry tries the AK to create a horcrux of sorts to remove the piece of Voldemort's Soul.

Voldemort attacks the Order HQ after Dumbledore destroys all his horcuxes.

Ya It was the General by nos tres reges. He took down all of his stories sometime ago. I have no idea if anyone has that fic.

I was wondering if you knew of any HP fics where mythology plays a role in the magic or society.

Doesn't really matter if it's norse, greek, egyptian or even christanity and angels and demons play parts.

Have you tried reading the Denarian Renegade/Knight/Lord by Shezza?

 

Yeah - Multiple times - They are some of the absolute best.

 

Maybe you'd like Wastelands of Time then, though the chances are you've already read it.

 

Wand and Shield has Norse but it is MCU Norse. Still good tough you should try it.

 

I've read both Wasteland of Time and Wand and Shield and they are both excelent fics.

Any good Doctor Who/Harry Potter crossover? I know technology and magic have difficulty mixing up.

I'm also looking for fics with original setting like Taure's Gossip Girl/HP xover or I read one once where Hogwarts was actually the premiere school of ballet of the country. It might have magic or it might be mundane, I'm just looking for interesting premises and character interaction.
