If anybody wants basic tips for laning, feel free to message me. I've found that sometimes just little things can easily boost your elo. I'm sure most of the big picture/map awareness stuff is either you have it or you don't. Not much to teach in those parts, besides pay better attention.

So if anyone wants to do some quick 1v1s to work on laning, feel free to add me: swordcookie. If you are bronze/silver, guarantee there's a LOT of things that can be worked on.

 

Ranked makes me giggle.

So I get last pick and am feeling pretty shit. I pick Fiddle jungle to try and have some fun. The game starts off with Ezreal not connecting, leaving Taric to solo bot. Lovely.

Then first blood goes to the enemy Ryze, as Panth has no idea how to lane against a counter pick. Still trying to stay calm. I go top at level 3 and kill Ryze to get Panth started. Doesn't help, he dies a second time. I go mid and scare Orianna off, and Cass gets reaaaaaally toxic about my gank. Apparently I should have already been 6.

I get to 6 and gank bot after the tower is lost. I kill Leona, but Vayne bitches out. Taric is upset he didn't get the assist. I shrug.

Now... I get a kill, finish my jungle item/sorc boots. I gank mid. Ori dies a horrible death. Xin shows up. Cass and I laugh and murder him. We finally start to get along.

Vayne and Leona decide they are bored of killing Taric and come mid. I tell Panth top is lost and for him to ult mid so we can ace them. Cass and I wombo off each others ults nad kill Vayne, Leona, Xin, and Ori. Panth stays top and and Taric is farming bot. Things are going well.

So Cass and I just start 2 v 5ing the enemy team while Panth and Taric split push. Somehow we win the game after I get a couple of triples and solo Baron. Ended the game 19/5/15 and Cass ended 19/4/20.

Lulz were had and I feel a bit better about ranked.

 

We should play some normal game one of these days, Xiph. Widen our champion pools etc.

 

What do you mean by that? Do you play some unpopular champions and people QQ when you pick them? Or something else

Do you play Cho jungle? Because I basically main Cho Gath, and he's really strong tbh (Though, I play him midlane).



He's my freelo train ^^ All of these games are played in plat/diamond. One of those losses was during Twisted Treeline. So I've only lost with him once in Summoner's Rift.

 

Hm. What build do you run? Rush catalyst for RoA and then...?

Anyway, I'm plat 2 and I'd like a little advice as one thing that I always seem to do is lose lane to Ryze. I'm really not sure what to pick into him anymore, the only champ I seem to do well vs a Ryze with is J4 and that runs the risk of getting out scaled, regardless of whether I build AD or not.

Speaking of J4, I just got carried pretty hard just now. Had all 3 of my lanes winning, all I had to do was protect them and for some reason I was always guarding the wrong lane when their Volibear would show up. Still won, but their Volibear almost turned the game against us. Game woulda been much easier if I hadn't been terrible with my jungle sense. Feels bad man.

 

Yeah, jungle cho isn't as good unless your laners has hard cc (at which point he becomes really really strong).

As for items, for mid lane, I would go Dorans Ring (Double Dorans occasionally), >Catalyst>RoA>Sorc Boot. Next item depends if I'm ahead or not. Deathcap if ahead, Abyssal Scepter if not. Definitely Deathcap after that. I round up the build with a Frozen Heart and Zhonyas. Very rarely, I get a voidstaff if it's needed.


Jungle Cho, I'd imagine you would go Ancient Golem>Mobi boots>Wits End/Abyssal Scepter. I wouldn't play him unless your laners has people with reliable cc, such as Ryze, Riven, Pantheon, Syndra etc etc.

 

Rod of Ages is always a great item for Cho. Problem is, for jungle Cho, it might be difficult to get the gold fast enough. But honestly, Cho is so flexible in what he can build that almost everything works. It's just that, if you want to be carrying, it's probably best to build damage so you don't have to rely on others.

 

Went 3 and 3 on the day. 1-1 as Vlad, because I was forced to top lane and he's the only one I own. Riven countered me so hard the first game, but I made a well timed roam to pick up a triple. We were so close to winning that game, but our triple ad comp didn't stay in their base to finish. Woulda been a close call. Second game as Vlad was against Nasus and it was all just farming. Other lanes won hard, so we cleaned up teamfights even though Nasus had a hella stacked q.

Other games were as Thresh. 2-2. Support is fun. Won a game with a nice hook onto Annie (mid). Other games idr much. Up to 90 LP now.

Also Lucky removed me. I don't know what to feel.
