Just read the chapter and wow more Uchiha bullshit. On a related note is Kaguya just ten tails in human form and somehow separating back into the 9 tailed beasts? Or is Kaguya just a revived Jinchuriki?

Kakashi knows how to turn the MS off so that doesn't really make sense to me.

Now that I think about it we've seen something of the sort before. Rinnegan users tend to replicate their eyes in their paths. Could that be the basis for this?

Turning it off doesn't change the fact that every time he uses it, he'll go a little more blind.

See: Itachi and Sasuke before the EMS.

It doesn't really make sense to call it temporary in that case though. Kakashi very well could manage his use of MS to make it last a very long time.

A very long time is still a temporary period of time. And that's only 'maybe'. Besides, Obito said it 'may' only be temporary. Not 'will' only be temporary.

That long temporary period of time could last Kakashi's entire lifetime.....I'm not even sure how to respond to your take on Obito's wording. That's a somewhat common way to phrase a sentence. The 'may' isn't really there to imply it might not be temporary but to set up the rest of the sentence. It's hard for me to explain such things. An example of such a sentence would be "I may be blind, but I still know what's going on around me." The sentence isn't really implying that the blindness is in question.

Well...look at the time difference between Sasuke going blind and Itachi going fully blind. Itachi must have only used the Mangekyou a few times over the years for it to last as long as it did.

He probably got away with using it more times than Sasuke in total by not spamming it so many times in every battle, especially Susanoo.

Itachi in life used his MS as his trump card. Sasuke used his as his primary means of combat.

Could Kakashi's new MS really be EMS now? Since they're the MS of his fallen 'brother'? There's been so much Sharingan nonsense that I can't even remember how/which rules apply in this instance.

Does no one care that Obito came back from death just to wish really hard that Kakashi gets his (now turned to ash) eyes? Forget eye transplants by simply gouging it out and popping it in, we've now reached a new level where eyes are created and transplanted merely by one's wish for it.

On the other hand, Kakashi got the Susanoo, so I don't much care about the how or the why.

The way I see it is that Naruto and Co. are facing against what basically amounts to God. Reality shouldn't make any sense right now. Naruto has 7 kinds of rasenshuriken right now, which was pretty damn awesome.

I think that at least for this confrontation, nothing should be impossible. Otherwise, they're doomed to failure.

The problem is. Eventually this conflict will be over. And no-one and nothing will be able to stand up to them. Anywhere.

The current battle is crap and crap derivatives. It's a slightly-more-fancy DBZ-Syndrome battle where every other major event is a sudden powerup that makes no damn sense out of nowhere.

Besides, there's been nothing shown that any of the crazy stupid bullshit like the Sharingan-granting-happy-dead-guy-beam is something that go away after. If Naruto and Sasuke and Kakashi all live and Kaguya dies they're basically going to be living gods themselves.

    It's just stupid.

We learned a few chapters ago that Madara Izanagied himself back to life. I think Jiraiya also brought himself back to life to finish his message. Then there's Hagoromo. I'm choosing to believe that this is only possible because Obito was a Juubi host and has some lingering power.

Jiraiya didn't come back to life he was still alive. He simply regained consciousness.

Jiraiya fought his way back to life the same way Kamina came back: sheer grit and willpower to finish the fight to ensure that their death would not be in vain. He had undoubtedly been through many, many battles and been on the verge of death before, giving him the determination to get back on his feet.

Obito on the other hand dies, meets the girl he had a crush on but didn't seem to return his feelings--who somehow does not blame him for all the atrocities and death he caused in her name--and then sucks Kakashi (who as I last recalled was still alive) into the Mangekyou realm--which is supposed to take a ton of chakra to use, being a Mangekyou technique--to gift him his Sharingan in both eyes from beyond the grave and the ability to use it on the level of hax!Sasuke and GodMode!Naruto, despite him never being able to even use the regular Sharingan too much without passing out before. There's a bit of a difference.

That being said, I do like Kakashi being somewhat relevant again, and seeing some of the old 'Kakashi of the Sharingan' is nice--even if it was gained and used by hax means.

Just saying, but damn, that hurt to see Jiraiya's death all over again, particularly knowing he's just about the one character we won't be seeing resurrected in this war. Reminds me that I should go re-read everything from Part II to Nagato's end once more.
