    I won't lie, I don't get the pic above.

Does it mean that Kishimoto has been on weed?

I'm pretty sure Obito just enters Kakashi's mindscape.

Oh god dammit, so much stupid...and I still liked it just because it made Kakashi relevant again xD

If we are to come up with bullshit explanations for this bullshit act, I believe this was just possible because Obito's power was transdimensional teleport, so, if we go with the realm of the dead being another dimension, it could sorta explain why he was able to come back for a bit and give the Sharingan to Kakashi.

And I guess because this time the eyes were transplanted in the best possible way (bullshit reality warping of some kind or metaphysical transference,) and not some rushed hackjob in the middle of the battlefield as last time, he kinda can use it better? Obito also maybe gave him the chakra for it.

Would be interesting whether or not Kakashi can now turn the Sharingan off, though, or if he has to walk blindfolded from now whenever he is not fighting. I mean, he can turn the mangekyo off, but regular Sharingan was still a strain on him, but who knows, maybe not now anymore.

As to chakra capacity, it has always been bullshit, Kakashi and Shikamaru, but mainly Kakashi were the only ones who have ever been really limited by that, everyone else had as much chakra as they needed at every fight they have been in, so, it doesn't surprise me that Kishi simply got rid off that limitations. That's nothing new, really.

So, was I the only one who read the scene as Obito basically hallucinating Rin telling him exactly what he wanted to hear?

Considering Kakashi's thing with his father when he was temporarily dead? Yes, I'm fairly sure you are the only one who read it like that.

Naruto-verse has shown quite clearly that it has an afterlife.

The difference between Kakashi's experience in the afterlife and Obito's experience is odd though.

Kakashi remained a grown man, entered a pitch black space and sat with his father by a fireplace. Obito turned into a kid, appeared in an empty white space with Rin and then popped back to enter Kakashi's soul which turned out to be an empty white space where they're both kids. Which also resembles the space that Naruto and Obito had their mental confrontation, or even where Naruto first spoke with Minato and Kushina, respectively.

    Bizzare.

It's as if Kishi was making things up as he goes along.

Yes, yes, exactly. Undoubtedly, the answer to it all is so complex that it appears nonsensical to those in ignorance. :sherlock:

Wait, wait. Did Kakashi's father tell Kakashi anything he could not know by himself?

Did "dead"Rin give any information to Obito that he could not have known?

Maybe its all but "you see what you want to see when you die" and "you look how you want to look", instead of a more structured afterlife you'd expect.

This is one possibility. Another is that Jiraiya will soon come back from the afterlife after running along Snake Way and getting awesome training from King Kai. He'll return with the ability to gather natural energy from the whole solar system and create a Spirit Bomb Rasengan.

    ...

In other words, I really, really hope Kishi doesn't take this whole afterlife thing any further. The way he has copied Akira Toriyama in other aspects of this manga does not fill me with hope.

Fixed it. I mean, come on, the Snake Way and Jiraiya?

I gather he'd be better off using Boob Hill road.

    That's for Orochimaru to use.

This is fairly obvious. Kakashi went on living his life. Hence, when he met his dad he didn't regret the choices he had made. Obito died when the boulder crushed his side.

He has been frozen in hate, sustained by weird tree cells, ever since. His death was supposed to be something happy or at least it was supposed to be some kind of retribution. It's no wonder he wanted to be the same Obito he was before.

Not to mention that Naruto induces flashbacks into anyone who has ever been jaded.

And when Obito enters Kakashi's mind (Presumably) it DOES have a resemblance to the one where Naruto and he had their little heart to heart. My thoughts are that we're seeing Kakashi and himself Obito's perspective, not Kakashi's. Kakashi might be seeing something completely different. The mind can be weird like that, in stories.

Same thing with Kakashi. His greatest issue was always his father. A friendly chat by a campfire is as good as it gets in solving that.

Also, Naruto has made it clear that souls are immortal, but no confirmation of actual afterlife yet.

Have to disagree with that quote. Sasuke is really one of the only characters that has received anything close to character development in the series. He was screwed from the start. From genetics to his brother's abuse...he was screwed over.

I don't see how anyone can fault him for being selfish and taking the path he did; He is far better a person than Obito, Orochimaru, or even Itachi. What he did was selfish, but understandable. That's more than I can say for Naruto who's character development in no way shape or form is relatable to a normal human being.

At the base point, Sasuke is not meant to be a villain. Expecting him to be the antagonist is foolish at this point. He is, for better or worse, just as much the protagonist of the series as Naruto is at this point. Neither of them are likable IMO, but at least Sasuke makes sense.

...I could not possibly disagree with you more. Sasuke and the uchiha fanfaggotry is the leading reason this Manga turned into smelly, rancid shit. They're toxic presences that should be forgotten or at least massacred.

    Again.

The best possible thing that could happen for the manga is for Sasuke to die before he can have any spawn. So we can escape the crap that him and all his kin have inflicted on the Naruto manga. Forever. The Sharingan and everything to do with it is just more and more shit every time it appears. The Uchiha and their crazy angsty bullcrap are the leading reason the Naruto world is in such a crappy place. Madara, Obito, Danzo with his crazy eye thieving, Fugaku, Itachi. They're all massive drains on the hope and prosperity of everyone around them.

I honestly don't care that he's 'understandable' or more realistic in a humanly emotional sense. (Which I disagree with, Heavily). He's a massive, selfish, vicious, uncaring, cocky, rude, little fuck who was offered a path of redemption and hope and care and instead chose revenge and evil. I honestly regret that he was ever even a character in the series and if I could forget him forever I would.

A 'far better person' than Obito or Itachi? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Right. That was all I needed to read to know that we would never, ever agree.

Sasuke himself and Uchiha fanfaggotry/sharigan hax are different things though.
