Also, all of The Sage's praise for Kakashi felt really damn forced, because...well, we didn't really see much of Kakashi actually leading, until that last plan at the end, now did we? Even most of his fights from the War got cut from the manga.

And I guess now we have a bit of a timeline? We know Naruto's age for certain now, anyway.

Minato fading away didn't really feel all that emotional, honestly. The Edo Tensei kind of ruined any kind of impact a death would have, at this point.

 

Wasn't it specifically said that Jinchuuriki of the ten tails were the exception to the rule and didn't die after it was removed? I think that was the justification behind Hagoromo and Obito living.

IN the next episode of Naruto's Ballz. Sakura attempts to initiate a threesome with Sasuke and Naruto with horrendous results.

 

Part 3 now deals with Orochimaru. And what did happen to the infinite tsukiyomi. Is everyone still under it? I dont see them.

The Kakashi leadership was forced to pave way for him becoming Hokage.

 

Likely because Kishi realised that he'd taken out of the "Sharingan" out of "Sharingan Kakashi" and the "Copy" out of "Copy Ninja".

 

Kakashi isn't even an S-rank shinobi anymore, now that his sharingan is gone for good. The only circumstance I can see him becoming Hokage is if the position doesn't actually matter anymore in terms of combat, seeing as Konoha has both heirs to the Sage's will.

 

I always thought Kakashi could have become greater without the Sharingan. It was an obvious advantage, but one which favoured mimicry over innovation, not to mention the crippling chakra drain. Without the Sharingan, perhaps Kakashi could have kept pushing his Lightning mastery further, developing abilities like the Raikage's Lightning Release Armor, and more. I mean, he invented Chidori when he was just a child. Surely he could have pushed the limits of his element far beyond that after a decade of further experimentation and training. Instead he became moderately skilled in multiple elements and a huge variety of random techniques, which he doesn't even seem to utilise very often. It was only in Shippuden that Kakashi seems to have begun taking his primary element seriously again.

 

Plot bunny: Kakashi never gets Obito's eye (for whatever reason) and instead continues on the path he started when he graduated at the obscenely young age he did, becoming a legendary shinobi purely on his own merits. White Lightning, son of the White Fang, perhaps.

 

This is partially the premise of Team Tobi, but Roarian hasn't got to that yet.

 

I think the sharingan favoring mimicry was really cut back when elemental affinities were introduced. There's no real reason doujutsu users can't take the insight into chakra and jutsu that their eyes give them and innovate with it. It's kind of like the Byakugan not really favoring taijutsu but the entire Hyuuga clan specializing in it.

I think his graduation age was retconned.
