This is the reason why I hate books-turned-movies. The damn directors can never seem to cast the right characters. (or get the plot right. PoA anyone?)

Katie Leung is hot as ever.

I have to say, we're the generation. Who else will get to have the Harry Potter stars in Playboy and Maxim eventually? Seriously, as disliked as Hermione is and as unsuited for the part as Watson is, you can't deny that she's good looking. And there's Katie Leung.

Ginslut looks like she's hit puberty at least in that picture. Maybe I won't have to close my eyes in the movie.

Luna looks good. That's all I'll say.

About Luna... go to youtube or google video and search 'luna' or 'evanna lynch', and watch the interview with her. She's perfect. Maybe not in looks, as you say, but just listen to her. It's really omfg material IMHO.

And Harry's hair is horrible. Yes, but that's because if he DID have more hair, it'd make him look a bit too old. Look at the GoF pictures for kriff's sake, he looks older in those pictures than in the OoTP pictures. Well, slightly.

I'm going to watch it anyway; who cares if it's bad? I'm watching it for watching's sake.

Dan's hair, though really a bit too short for my liking, is not that bad -- except in the picture where he's lying on the ground, in Wisteria Walk; that's no pretty sight -- I was a bit bothered by the long hair in GoF. His hair was fine in PoA.

Evanna Lynch is a good choice for Luna's part, I think -- I saw pictures of the other possible actresses, and they all looked quite pretentious IMO.

Umbridge's perfect. I already have a strong urge to send her crashing into the ceiling.

 

I saw the interview and I agree that Evanna Lynch is a pretty good Luna, but her appearance...what throws me off is her chin. It is a little bit too round, like Katie Leung's.

Umbridge, I'm not sure. She looks more like those annoying old ladies rather than the malevolent bitch she's supposed to be. Maybe she'll look fit more into what I pictured with a smile full of malice =)

...It seemed as though Radcliffe, Grint and the Neville boy decided to get a haircut. Harry and Neville is just WTF, but I think Grint looks better with his hair shorter...less of an idiot anyways.

Oh, and I forgot to add that Parvati looks like a fucking MAN in that picture with Ginny and Cho. Ginny looks alright though, surprisingly. o.o

I do like Luna, though. Umbridge is ok. And I think Grint looks better than he did in the fourth film, at least - although that shouldn't have been too hard.

Nigel's the kid who brings Ron a package in the GoF movie, because the Weasel had promised him Harry's autograph in exchange. Bleh. I think this was the scene where Ron got his dress robe in the Great Hall, not sure.

Lynch has renewed my faith in H/L. That was probably the best casting choice for the movies so far. Judging from those pics Harry must be retarded to take Cho over the Patil twins (who are looking less and less alike with every movie.).

I honestly don't know why so many people dislike Emma Watson as Hermione.
