Sasuke being true to his dickbag self is actually kinda preferable to me over him just slipping back into the fold and having all be forgiven. I mean, there are absolutely no external influences acting on him right now, plus he was given a golden ticket to reforging his past friendships and just took a steaming shit on it. Surely there's a limit to even Kishimoto's ability to make Naruto a forgiving doormat, right? Right?

Also the utter irrelevancy that the tailed beasts have been reduced to is funny and sad.

You know, I almost wish I was surprised. Sometimes it feels like Sasuke's primary function is just that of a drama queen/attention whore.

To settle the brothers' conflict I only see two solutions. One is to kill Sasuke and therefore, in all likelihood, keep the older brother out of the cycle of reincarnation due to the lack of decent host. The other involves curing the older brother of his douchebagishness via shounen mechanics permanently. Of those two, I am pretty sure Naruto won't try the former, unfortunately.

Worse yet, Sasuke and Naruto apparently need to work together to end the Eternal Tsukiyomi? Great. :facepalm

The previous chapter should have been the last, with the one this week merely being an epilogue.

Kaguya was unique in that she was absolutely terrible. Madara may have been sterotypical but he did his job well. Madara didn't need to be coached through fights because he's put in plenty of work before. Madara didn't repeatedly look stupid because of clones because he could see through them.
