If they could appear on your pillow, most of the start of the whole first book would've been a lot easier.

Jeez, at least be realistic with your cruel japes. And make sure you have that tiny shack on an island booked.

I promise you, leaving it on the pillow doesn't lessen the effect.

    Thought I deleted this.

Oh well. Did now (in hindsight, just not funny. Not in the world we live in now).

Oh, we all laugh about it now, though it might, perhaps, have led to tears back then. And maybe I felt a little guilty at the time--though it was damned funny too.

That his birthday falls on Christmas Day was nothing but happy accident.

Speaking of Hogwarts letters and such... how exactly did Durmstrang and Beauxbatons go on about it, informing people of their acceptance to a school they didn't even know about? Was it ever mentioned?

I don't think it was ever mentioned in canon.

Considering Durmstrang did not accept muggleborns, they might not have informed people at all. There could have been some sort of application process, wherein they presumably accepted anyone of satisfactory blood purity who could afford whatever the tuition was.

I know this is just a joke, but you do remember they start school at 11, right?

How did parselmouths get a reputation for being Dark and evil? Is it a cultural hatred of snakes, Dark wizards using some form of Parsel-Magic or something, or just a bad coincidence of well-known Dark wizards like Salazar happening to be known parselmouths?

Are they all from France though? I imagine, like Durmstrang, that Beauxbatons accepts students that aren't from France, but knowledge of French is a requirement if you want to enroll.

Also, if we're gonna be stating obvious things, you're from the UK and you write about 11 year old children discussing blowjobs, albeit only in fiction, but I don't see how your nationality has an influence on that particular tidbit.

    -_-

No, they're not all from France. Way to miss the joke.

    Here's a video for you.

    So, Children from countries like:
The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Belgium or Italy can't go to a Magical school?

They don't speak fluent English (Hogwarts), French (Beauxbatons) or German(?) (Durmstrang) at 11.

Was it ever confirmed in canon that Stan Shunpike was actually Imperuised? It wouldn't be the first time that someone thought to be good turns out to be a Deatheater (Wormtail, Crouch Jnr)

Supposedly, he had "blank eyes" after Harry's spell removed his mask in DH.

I'm not sure about him being "Imperiused" but he was certainly put under the Imperius Curse.
