So you know what's interesting? I picked scum as my first choice and town as my second, but got town. How many of you jerks kicked me out of your scum team eh? Because you're gonna regret it.

See, that's what I figure as well. Things have come a long way since the last game I played with Sloth. But what if this is a front to mask other Scum behavior?

Just looking at it from a glass half-empty POV, Day 1 is (to the best of my recollection) guesses and subterfuge.

Zenzao is probably town for calling out Sloth on a word slip (although I don't really understand what the slip is) but balancing the pressure with hedge phrases like 'guess' and 'not laying any blame' and 'not to get a lynch 'em mentality rolling'. I can't imagine scum doing that.

Out of curiosity, how are you guys using your qts? I'm considering recording my thoughts more regularly in mine for this game.

 

Note: I'm not going to be giving QTs for this game, as I mentioned before. All actions must be in my inbox or they don't count.

 

Blah, I may make a qt for myself. Note taking tends to be rare as I tend to be compelled to say what I think.

 

The word slip Sloth used would be "we" and "us", the only times of which those terms should be used is when Scum are colluding and accidentally(or deliberately as seen from reading QT's last game) reference each other. Also from last game, I misinterpreted Sloth's behavior and got a fellow innocent townie lynched, so I'm taking more caution in my approach to everyone early on.

Really? I find it more valuable that you bring up a personal QT this game. Most of what Lexicat has said about communication seems to forbid ways for players to speak to each other outside of this thread; but looking at the first line of Things Not to Do brings up this little tidbit

Us and the Scum may not have individual QT's handed out by Lexi herself, but that doesn't mean that she has forbidden them from sharing a joint QT created by one and shared out to all for discussion and tactics, only that their actions have to go to her inbox when all is said and done with.

This is a bastard game. That can mean any definition of the term, including modding, though I doubt it is the latter. Anyone else want to chip in on the matters raised this page?

 

I never really plan ahead enough to require a QT, so I'd probably just post once or twice in it and then feel guilty for not using it more.

Doublepost because sneaky Zen. Yeah, I think she's implying that scum still get a collaborative chat. As easy as it would make our job, scum without a chat would be pretty pointless.

Maybe there are other chats available too, based on abilities.

Sloth and TerRaine know each other IRL so it's an entirely reasonable phrasing if they are unavailable together.

 

Again, from a glass half-empty perspective, such is the perfect excuse to get away with Scum acting like a townie and testing the waters of what he/she could get away with. THAT SAID, I'll let the matter drop until something that isn't just circumstantial evidence at best crops up.

As for fluff like your initial post, I suppose I favor the classic chocolate chip dipped in milk. Likewise on Oreos.

Just saw this, that is a possibility. The wording of Lexi's fourth restriction sounds like it prohibits a confirm/deny regarding other chats if they do exist, though.
