So this just occurred to me, does anyone know if we flip after death in this game, or is it no reveal?

Also, don't go ZZ, I'll miss you. Probably.

Oh yes I am, because she's wrong on multiple points, I'm just still in class and don't feel like finding the individual quote proof one-by-one right now.

I'm trying to determine whether Font is actually misrepping me to set me up for discreditation/mislynch or she's reading everything I say through a confirmation bias lens predicated on me being scum. Because the first is scum!fontisian and the second is town!fontisian, but she's good enough at avoiding being lynched D1 as scum that she doesn't put much effort into being obviously one or the other

    *takes a breath*

Alright. First things first; my apologies to Lexicat for interrupting her game thread with this unnecessary drama. I have the occasional lack of rational that strikes and the constant need to defend/justify my actions in this pool of more experienced sharks broke the camel's back, if you will. I snapped and said things I didn't mean to, nor intended to, but felt immensely satisfying to have said in the heat of the moment - to be done with this bullshido. It was stupid and served no purpose, and further more would have only hurt the town's survival by cutting our number down one.

Secondly, my apologies to my fellow players, for interrupting your game as well. As someone so eloquently put it in the tags, I rage-quit, over what amounts to a bit of pressure. It was a distraction with no other purpose than a middle-finger to the game and the direction I've spiraled into.

I don't want out of the game. I just needed a break and some perspective to clear my head. We're in it to win it. And most of all I'm in this for Lyrium and Sloth, who wanted to play a game with me again despite my inadequate skill level. I appreciate the kind words from Doctor Whooves, Citrus, Rubicon, Lyrium, and Atum.

Returning to your regularly scheduled scumhunt in 3.. 2.. go go go.

And apparently I've been a Village Idiot. No wonder Fonti has been gunning for my head all this time.

I do have to apologize as well Zenzao. My first reaction on seeing you react to pressure was to press twice as hard. I should have picked up that it was spilling from game frustration to real life frustration. That's not the point of Mafia and it really can ruin games.

    Oh hey, drama happened.

Zenzao: Good to see you didn't drop out. It can be very hard not to take all of this personally.

    Anyway, back to lynching Citrus.

Sorry if I contributed to any bad feelings there ZZ....I'm pretty new too so I can see where this can get stressful. Never my intention to make this not fun for someone since I more than get that feeling.

From what I get with this game is when the mud starts slinging you sling right back. Nothing personal ^^

Zenzao, aww Survivor memories. Also, in terms of skill level...there is a player in this game...a one-eyed menace...who seriously tried to be mean to me over my mafia ineptitude. Unfortunately for it, sometimes I just take mean comments as compliments or am too amped up to care.

I kind of wish MathBlade had not admitted to being survivor, but what's done is done. Titus being so nice to MathBlade...is different.

I know its bad but I want PowerOfDeath to feel the heat. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LURK IN THE LAST GAME. Leave the kitty alone you scum..or else. POD, tell me what you know and tell it now or elsies.

Rubicon's #151 made me feel less escared of his oath breaking ways.

Aekiel, who is scum or scummy? You didn't deny being a flamingo or a knave. Intriguing.

Fonti, #271..I need to follow up on this. Yay, hw from the Lady.

Have to look at Whoves #285 again. Whoves, the Dr., how are you doing this fine day? Where is the bomb hidden? Tell me now.

Re: Atum #294. There are three alignments possible in this game. Town, Scum, 3rd party. Which are you? Pick one and stop trying to screw the other one. That is how bastards are made.

Terraine buddying or otherwise Xing with Fonti in her wall post. Hmm...anyone who tries to town clear Fonti too quickly is suspicious. Just because you love her doesn't mean she isn't a black widow (cue song)

Kalas, you tell me ...what is it useful? Sometimes a thing is done not for its obvious mechanical usage but for shenanigans or genuine interest or like cuz. My opinion on Zen is :)

Re: some of the other posts...doesn't it suck when you like a person but think they're scummy but don't want them to die right away? Why can't we have a monk who converts these misguided zealots who practice necrophilia?

Ok, just general rainbow-thoughts for now, so…

    TOWN
    Sloth

Zenzao - would likely steer clear of me as scum.
    - wishy-washy wording, but reasoning fits.
    - most of his time is spent defending himself for one of his first comments, which he should have moved on from by now. Flustered, or scummy hyper-defensiveness?
    - #92: ...that's not what "quoting" means, even theoretically.
    - despite defensiveness, give perfectly valid reasons why he's not pursuing me. Just keeps defending himself.
    - #224: This is the only post that's seriously made me think he could be scum. That accusation is ridiculous.
    >We’re not lynching him toDay. Stop wasting my time.

    Lyrium
    - fanning Zenzao's flames bringing up admittedly legitimate reasons to keep an eye on me...but ultimately that reasoning fails her, as she's basically encouraging him to keep focus on someone who's not around. Also that whole 'speaking for her' bit regarding Ter when Ter had stated she wouldn't be around both in the Sign-up thread and a few posts before I ever said anything in the game thread. So, trying to pull attention my way on something she couldn't have possibly missed, for reasons that could not benefit a town player. Odd, that.
    - #206: less than a fourth of the way into the First day and she's the first one to put the NL possibility on the table, however subtly, and with no reason to.
    Hm. Better.

    TerRaine
    - she could easily be Scum or Town due to this setting, it’d be the perfect time for her to be scum, actually, but gut tells me otherwise for now.
    - like her wall.

    Atum
    - eager to play. Hyper.
    - treating Zenzao with kid gloves for some reason.
    - overall under-the-floorboards, not doing much of anything unless prodded.

    Mathblade
    - claims survivor...which, if true, is a move I would only expect from her. Which is why I believe she's telling the truth.
    - however, could have easily asked scum and hiding as 3rder, which is...something I'd do but who knows if she would.
    - she's basically scum or either begging scum to kill her.
If she makes it past the few Nights, we have a problem.

    Citrus
    - claimed he wanted Scum, but got Town? Unlikely, but we'll see. Possible 3rder, like Mathblade.
    - 3 voter? Not 3 voter? Confusing.
    - Obsession with multiple voters. Possible PR revolving around votes.
    >For the time being, should not be around by Endgame

    Blab
    - #205: I think him saying that is the scummiest thing he's said so far.
    - standing behind the curtains for now. Observe.

    PowerofDeath
    - ...did he even have a reason to vote fonti?
    - also what’s the point of him? How long until we’re looking at replacements?

    Doctor Whooves
    - great big bag of bleh.
    - claims to have chosen Town because it's more fun...despite never being scum. That’s like saying I know I’d never like truffles even though I’ve never had them

    Snowvon
    - defensive of Mathblade.
    - focused on Titus.
    - laidback, doing nothing really (normal).

    Kalas
    - first post after 46 others was entirely fluff and pointless.
    - buddying Mathblade.
    - generally a Yes-Man and not contributing. Not what I expect from him

    Titus
    - displays surprise over finding out the Days are not 24 hours. ...When have we ever even HAD 24 hour Days? This comes off as forced and played up. (Seriously, no one found that strange?)
Been around the world, don't speak the language
But your front lobe don't need explaining~

    Fontisian
    - Fontisian is always scum.
    - tunnel on Zenzao on par with her Town mentality, though faulty.
    - ...what the hell has she been doing with her votes? She flip-flops on them constantly. I get pressure voting, and I get how pointless it is when you don't stick to something for at least a few minutes.
    - Telling the truth is not the default state. Fontisian might be scum.

    Rubicon
    - generally quick to move us from RVS, even while being random, very effective and manipulative like that. However, this time he's almost certainly keeping us there with useless questions and statements ("Are you the cookie monster?")
    - first to react to math's quasi doctor-claim, generally indicative of scum in my mind, to cover tracks later.
    - 2 voter? Not two-voter? The hell are people doing this game?
    - #222: You mean the very same things I constantly harped on about Snow during AYAWW2 which you continuously defended?

    Aekiel
    - voted for Zenzao in a very transparent move to paint him as suspicious for being "so suspicious" of me without voting, when Zenzao had made it plainly clear he wasn't all that suspicious to begin with.
    - Voted for Rubicon...a bit randomly. Like he was looking for an excuse. Protecting Zenzao? Why like that, that'd be even more transparent than exaggerating his errors. Trying to look unaligned with Rubicon? Possible.
    - first to bring up the issue of lynching Math, the convenient patsy to waste a scum vote, presuming she's 3rder.

Unlike Fontisian, I spaced these out with line breaks because I'm awesome

    1. This is actually dumb to say I'm lying on this, because I wouldn't lie about something like that even if I were scum. I don't feel comfortable making setups yet because I don't know the weird math people bring up of scum:town ratios and whatnot as well as balancing number of PR roles for scum/town. My home site actually does a bunch of player-created setups and this is a key reason why I've never done one on my own. Hence me stating I'm not necessarily confident on the numbers I gave for scum/neutral/town ratios.

    2. Semantics. Not that you're bandwagoning him, but in scum!fontisian town!zenzao worlds enough players had given uncertainty over Zenzao to where it would be a great place for you to start with a mislynch wagon to see where it goes. And btdubs pretty sure there was >= 1 vote on Zenzao at that point, hence me saying you bandwagoned because its jumping on.

    3. Your activity on any other site is way different from your activity on this site, and your normal day 1 activity on DLP is pretty fantastic. Meaning as scum you have to perform to this level. It's really weird that you'd cite activity on other forums as evidence for your towniness because of the fact stated above. Makes it look like you're more interested in appearing towny with that statement then you would have if you worded that otherwise.

    4. I need to find quotes so leaving this red

    5. It was OMGUS due to timing. You saw Zenzao vote you and then me vote you and the immediate reaction is to call the second person on your wagon scum. You effectively claimed BOTH people on your wagon at that time were scum. That's literally a scum tactic, calling everyone that scumreads you enough to vote you scum to doubtcast and try to defuse pressure

    6. Everything has wine, but I'm picky about distancing and I would be wise enough to see what a scummate was posting if that situation was occurring. And I don't care what my scum team does when I'm scum, I do my play my way. You're citing people other than me to define my behavior AKA you're not even comparing the same things here. Those apples are not the oranges that I am

    7. I need to find quotes so leaving this red

    8. Worlds with scum extra votes > worlds with town extra votes by a long shot. Especially considering bastard modding, it's probably extra votes are fake (0%) anyways which is potentially useful in determining alignment (0% extra vote scum is less likely than that for town unless balance compensates for it with more scum / weaker town)

    9. Fear no, but you do feel emotions proportional to the probability you'll get lynched (or mislynched as town) from experience

    10. Ha twisting my claims of your false bravado back on me? Nah, you pushed immediately on me after I mentioned you and without ever memorably batting an eye to me beforehand. Hence why it feels like an OMGUS

    11. It wasn't thrown out randomly, you buddied Snowvon multiple times on that page. I can bring quotes to the table if necessary

Red stuff will probably wait til I have time to reread, which is post-Wednesday

    tl;dr

    Fontisian's points range between
    1) Strictly wrong [1] [11]
    2) Semantic misinterpretations of what I said [2]
    3) Cherry picking details to better support her position [3] [6]
    4) Deflections / Discrediting of facts/assertions I made [5] [10]
    5) I disagree but am not putting the time to find the quotes this second [4] [7] [11]
    6) Reasonable arguments imo [8]
    7) Miscellaneous [9]

---------- Post automerged at 11:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:58 PM ----------

And that combination of issues with her points is so skewed away from "Reasonable arguments imo" that I'm feeling more and more confident with scum!fontisian, because normally as scum I'd expect her to make it past D1 extremely easily. Mostly predicated of the initial OMGUS (accusing me of being scum directly after I accused her of being scum, to make the terminology clear)

Sloth, in response to your question to me about Snowvon, no. He was not lurking in the background in that game. He was simply not scumhunting. There is a difference.

Hanging in the background is trying to avoid attention.

Fuck, now I can't go to bed. Thanks Citrus.

---------- Post automerged at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:49 AM ----------

    1. It's not so much a lie as creating a false impression of you as someone lacking in experience. It's the kind of thing I've done before when I wanted people to underestimate me.

    2. Wrong.
I searched every post with the word "Zenzao" in it before my vote. They were:
My vote was in the next post, and it included an attack on Rubicon for the above post.

    3. I'm saying that I'm busy now and comparatively putting a lot of effort into this game. Having you claim that I'm doing nothing when I'm doing infinitesimally more than you are despite the fact that I am also back at school is insulting.

Your argument that I have to keep up a front of activity as scum is ridiculous, as I have been more consistently active in my scum games than in my town games on this site.

    5. OMGUS means voting for someone without a reason beyond the fact that they voted for you. I voted for you because your post was wrong enough that you either weren't reading the thread or were lying. Add in your scum tendency to launch stupid attacks at strong town players, and the general scum desire to discredit me early on, and your alignment became obvious. You then used the word "OMGUS" as a generic term to discredit my attacks.

    6. You don't get it. By bring up the fact that you had voted right after Zenzao as a way to claim that you both are unaligned you a. poured a ton of wifom over the situation, especially because we both no that savy scum players intentional do taboo things like that and b.gave away your own self-consciousness.

    8. If you believe that extra votes are more likely to belong to town than scum, why would you want to out a likely townie?

    9. Two votes? Seriously? I get more scum than that voting for me every single Day 1. You can't honestly believe that.

    10. I apologize for not catching you in your single content post before you attacked me. Next time, I'll make sure to use my mind reading powers to figure out your alignment and lynch you before you post.

    11. No, I didn't. I joked around with a good irl friend of mine.

---------- Post automerged at 01:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:06 AM ----------

Sloth, I'm going to have trouble reading your walls if they continue to have stupid things.

So no one answered my question, did I do something wrong?

Sloth, have a truffle, they're good.
This game is on track to destroy more relationships than Mario

Citrus, after our last WH, why would a scum!fontisian be likely to have an easy D1? Especially considering the amount of scrutiny she gets.

Fontisian, are you a 3rd party like the Sword of Mathematics?
