The Lyrium one is obviously, so I'll start there.

The key difference between Lyrium's scumplay and townplay the is the aggressiveness of her language. Post 45 ("Aekiel, are you scum? I mean are you standing or sitting or in a one-legged flamingo position right now?"), post 153 ("We're not lynching Zen, not day one or day two"), post 188 ("Aekiel, what slander? I call a flamingo a flamingo and a knave a knave. Estop with the veiled threats or else," and "Are there replacements lined up or can we just start a bonfire,"), post 320 ("Peeps, I won't lynch Zen day one and you'll have to make a really strong fucking case after that because right now I see town."), the majority of post 329, etc., all have the aggressive tone that comes from town!Lyrium.

Add in her reasoning for not wanting to lynch Zenzao ("He's new, and while I think pressuring him is great...lynching noob players (his first game nked n1 so) is not my type of fun. It's too easy."), and easy read is easy.

TerRaine is town for:
1. Expressing a desire to be more true to her reads after letting Sloth go in their last game ("Determined not to let a correct scum read slip by again") in post 307.
2. Following up that attitude by pushing Lyrium with conviction, someone who was heavily townread at the time and who scum can't possibly hope to mislynch (post 455).
3. Spreading pressure between Zenzao and Aekiel in her first post, and then adding to the weaker wagon in order to make her vote worth more (post 307 again).
4. Continue to push Zenzao!scum after most players cleared him for the emotional outburst (Post 455 again). This was done after she clearly felt some guilt for pushing him (post 326), which implies a genuine scumread.
5. Overconfidence regarding the scum read on Lyrium (post 571).

 

I basically barn this (with the exception that I apparently miss the secret recipe to reading Atum. Whatever)

Do you think Aekiel is scum?

 

I... Dislike how quiet he's been since then. I had I quick read back through his posts just now, and his wall was solid, but Aekiel himself was null during it. So from that perspective, I don't really understand how it changed people's views so conclusively.

Maybe it's just our lack of interactions, but I think he's scummy. Before the wall I don't think his accusations were justified, and I'm not a big fan of retrospective vote explanation. That said, I can't see for the life of me who he'd be in a scum team with.

 

Dr. Whoves, umm...okay...instead of sitting there on your own...like push someone off the merry-go-round. Or you know scum hunt.
