Moot did go to that convention thing with Sarkeesian and Gamergate threads are being shut down. Whether the log's real or not I've lost a lot of respect for him. If it is I'm certainly done with 4chan.

Quite a few. There's a lot of pre-made natural allies out there for the anti-gamergate folks, because let's face it, horribly sexist nerds have been churning out enemies for literally decades, and most people get their news through the same media that's in the crosshairs of the gamergate fiasco. 'Nerds angry at woman in the video game industry for being sexually active' is, unfortunately, a very plausible narrative.

In a battle where one side is the unholy alliance between journalists and professional SJWs, it's going to be very, very difficult for the silent majority to get any sort of favorable impression of the opposition.

 

At least for now it seemsm to be going well for GG. But time will tell.

2. Mass Censorship-This is the main thing which has stoked the fire, Zoe, Anita, and a few others convinced certain sites to engage massive, almost unprecedented censorship of anything vaguely critical of Zoe Quinn, Anita, and all the bullshit SJWs represent

We are on the same fucking side here. I'm pro-gamergate. I just realize that a big part of the reason the SJWs wriggled their way into power is they had a point, albeit one they blew out of all proportion. There are terrible people in the gaming community. By pretending that they only exist in the fevered imaginations of SJWs you're proving their point for them, since it's so easy to prove that sexism is out there just by getting a girl to speak into the microphone in a multiplayer online shooter and seeing what response you get.

Unless you really intend to prove that there's no such thing as anti-female sexism on the internet - and I really hope you do because seriously, blowing that argument out of the water would be so far beyond fish in a barrel it'd go right past 'not even funny any more' and right back into hilarity - or accept that there's a reason this is a fight that's still going on more than a month after the original Zoe Post.
