@Titus I think you're either Netrunner or Matrix that can somehow see a reality other's can't based on brainpower or corp drops but none of that merges with the Harry Potter/DC reference you gave Atum and I don't know who the Vicious Brothers are.

Going with the Matrix since the computers "ate" people in that movie.

@Titus: My last guess is a character on Bones. I have a cold and have to study for something on Monday so this is probably the last post for the day.

However if I'm right your ability is useful for scum or town but more so town. Either way I'm not really thinking about it because I am trying to figure out who is scum and who is town. I'd like to see you try to convince everyone you are town.

 

What do you think I am doing? I am trying to convince people I am town crumbing my role to who needs it and if it would be advantageous. I cannot hire you but I am hoping you'd help me since the A team are powerful.

I do not trust neutrals but kerp your enemies closer. I am a strategist at heart. If everyone sees what I am doing and why it fosters trust.

This role is one of the hardest to play for me at the start. I am thrilled about it but if my actions force me to claim publically I will. That will ensure my death or being blocked or I would have to tweak my pm.

No. We are not. We force him to claim who he is rolling into. Anyone who wants to hire Math claims. They hire Math with a useless item. Citrus rolls Math. Neutrals but for Von are contained.

If we lynch a neutral, it should be Von. Hid claim is a perfect fake claim. I will volunteer to hammer him in later days if needed.

 

Von's unlikely to be scum because claiming third party as scum when Citrus was close to being lynched would be astonishingly stupid.

Citrus' is the most likely to be lying about his alignment of the claimed neutrals. His ability, if he is being truthful, is also damaging to town and not particularly damaging to scum, because the odds of a night kill being controlled by a item are zero, We're lynching him.

 

I don't care that much about my wincon, it's much easier to go for it later if town coordinates around it meaning town has to be doing great against scum. I can easily win in one/two nights if a bunch of people gift me items, and there's no way scum is all item gifters or anything to break the opposing argument (counterfactual?)

Fonti, you seem to have some kind of conception about what an item is. Would you mind giving a 'splenation, or a description? Because from what I think it is, i.e. some kind of one-shot ability, perhaps, or a power-enhancer maybe, why couldn't it be linked to a kill?

But I agree about Citrus. Based purely on maths, he's more likely to hit a town than a scum (assuming this game isn't more bastard than GoT, of course).

 

If we are that concerned, we can have Citrus roll into me night 1. I have no item. He will hit town but the rest of us function unimpeded.

 

And if Citrus lies?

 

Then I bear the risk. With the wacky roles, you would bet a watcher or tracker exists.(Not me)

Scum could try to kill me to frame him but that is high risk low reward given Citrus and I are mislynchable.

 

And if Citrus lies about you being the target?

I'm not fond of a plan that relies on a high potential scum telling the truth and then following through on it.
