Holy shit, I do feel old now, seeing guys starting out on N64's. Gah, I remember back when that and the Playstation 1 were a huge deal in terms of graphics and shit. Fuck, I even remember perfectly getting my N64 and playing that Superman game for the first time.

Yeah, I started out on Duckhunt, and then my sister got Super Mario Bros., so I started to play that. Basically, whatever my sister played, I played.

Ugh, I remember that one, never been happier I rented something in my life :|.

Zelda/Mario Party(And Kart) were the funnest games for that console.

First game I remember playing probably would've been Streets of Rage for the Genisis.

Hmm...the first game I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Megadrive when I was 7ish...but that was my brothers...

The first time I properly played through a game of my own was Final Fantasy 7 on the Playstation...I basically bought a Playstation just to get that game...good times...

Yeah, I felt the same way.
Also one of the first games I remember playing, along with "Battlechess" and "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago?". And I knew how to make my own "Pong" game in QBasic.

These are games you can play, but you can't really make a lifestyle with them. What got me addicted to gaming was the Sega Mastersystem. Sure I had friends with other consoles before that, but once we got our own my brothers and I were all up ons Alex the Kidd, as much as we could get. Then we got others. There was one especially, called Golvellius or something, awesome game, I've got it on my pc now, though I never play it. And then came Doom... But that's a different story.

Lol, I remember "Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego?". I can still recall searching through the house, trying to find those damnable floppy disks. >_>

Sega Genesis for me. A Star Wars fighter game forgot what it was called. Then my dad who started working for a company and he was the tech guy so he brought home computers and worked on them. Thats how I got into Computer games. Ah those were the days.

When I was about a year old my uncle got a Sega Genesis and every day we'd take turns, him playing sports games, while I played Sonic. Within a couple weeks of when we got it I could play each Sonic game in my sleep. Then we got a NES and SNES and all that and since I never had any friends, I spent all day every day playing games. I don't have many friends now and I'm still an addict.

I started out on a good ole Atari, playing Pit Fall that my brother had.

Next was a NES the first time it came out with the original Mario Bros and Track Meet (I think that was the game) with the track mat that you had to run in place on to get your runner to move.

That was old school Dance Dance Revolution
