If you can get past the first book, it becomes one of those stories that does canon rehash well. The story is more of a parody than anything else though, so if you don't like that, or are looking for something even vaguely original, don't read it.
Her Peter Pettigrew time travel fic was pretty good though.

 

I'll also recommend her "When in Doubt, Obliviate" as a good alternate.

Its basically Harry Potter.....as raised by Gilderoy Lockhart.

 

Is it? I mostly remember Harry tormenting Lockhart. Looks like a reread is in order.

It was one of the first fics I read, so I guess I was just easily entertained. I see why people are saying some of the older fics wouldn't make it into the library if it was reviewed today. Anything rehash is tedious.

But I have to follow Knoq and recommend When In Doubt, Obliviate. I know my memory is fuzzy for a lot of the oldies, but I'm pretty certain that was hilarious.

A pretty good fanfic where Harry goes back in time to his parents' era. It's kind of a slice of life/explore magic and classes fic that I dig a whole lot. Features a talented HP, competent fleshing out the blank-slate characters from canon (ie Frank Longbottom, Edgar Bones, etc), and a well-written Harry/Bellatrix pairing on a slow burn.

 

This will always have a place in my heart. Probably because it was one of the first Peggy Sue fics I read and liked, and because Harry basically tells the original timeline to go fuck itself.

That sounds pretty fucking terrible.

 

It was below average. A page+down read fic for me when I was really bored. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Had some moments, but they are not worth the rest of the crap.

 

Anything containing harem shit tends to be below average.

 

It has the one of the stupidest beginning I have ever seen. Hope it gets better...
