its good stuff, you can tell its building up to something insane with Corazon and Law, and then its going to flash back to the fight and something awesome is going to happen there related to the end of the flashback.

Maybe it turns out Law got the disease from amber-lead, and for whatever reason he used his fruit to swap out Corazons health/life/whatever for his own like Doflamingo said it could do?

Then Law proceeds to try to do that to doflamingo as well? Of course it would fail, because of some kinda Celestial Dragon bullshit or whatever, but this is my guess as to whats going to happen next.

I think that perhaps Corazon found the Ope Ope no mi and gave it to Law so that he could get rid of the poison in his body. Don then killed him because it was suppose to be used to make him immortal.

The current wild prediction I'm enjoying is that Doflamingo is actually controlling Corazon, which causes his clumsiness.

Who knows where Oda's going with all of this, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride.

I thought of this too. IIRC Corazon doesn't speak, right? Perhaps b/c Doflamingo doesn't want him to let anyone in on what's going on, or perhaps he's traumatized from watching Doffy kill their father and he's taking advantage of it, whatever.

But regardless if he's being controlled then him using the fruit to save Law somehow instead of to make Doflamingo immortal would probably have pissed Doflamingo off enough to kill him, heh. Also if Corazon was somehow getting revenge on Doflamingo in addition to helping Law it'd give him two motivations, making the storyline stronger there.

Amazing chapter. One Piece at its very best.

Doflamingo's flashback was riveting and adds a lot of nuances to his motivations. It's also true that his father was really naive even if the intention was commendable (though living "humbly" as a human in a huge mansion a ironic standard).

Law's childhood among the "family" was also compelling, and those revelations at the end, gosh. Oda better give us an answer on that subject in the incoming chapters.

Yeah, great chapter this week. Hopefully Oda gets around to explaining the significance of the D.

oh shit oh shit we might finally learn what the Will of the D is, something that's been planned out since the series began, just as Naruto is ending, a series that never planned out shit and by the end nothing done in the beginning makes any real sense!

But for real, this was an amazing chapter.

    Oh man, more D info!

    God's natural enemy, eh?

It seems to me like whatever is special about the Celestial Dragons, the D folks are supposed to be their counter.

Also, secret agent corazon? How is there a 'new' corazon, if Vergo was the old one? Shitty translation from mangapanda?

There's nothing special about the CDs. They're just descendants of the founders of the WG. The whole God/Devil parallel0 is just a metaphor for order and chaos.

Yeah, uh, the last few chapters have been making it fairly clear that this is not true.

Corazon is spanish for heart. The titles of Donquixotes executives are the types of cards e.g Corazon for heart, Diamante for diamond ect. So Vergo was an executive and then he went to spy on the world government and so the position was open.

Pretty much everything dofy has said? About how he got his hands on the 'sacred treasure of marijoise' or however you spell that thing, and how he can use it and thus all the other Dragons don't fuck with him?

Not sure how you've been missing this tbh.

Maybe I missed a chapter? If what you said is all there is to it, it still doesn't mean that the CD are anything beyond normal humans in elevated position.

I'm thinking that it all goes back to the Void Century.

Whatever the Will of D is probably originated then, possibly in opposite to the Celestial Dragons who also sort of originated then (since they are just the descendants of the people who formed the WG immediately after the Void Century). It's likely that they are the ones who formed the WG because they had some form of power/knowledge that other people at the time didn't have (i.e. they came out on top after events in the Void Century).

Or not. It's all 100% speculation. But I don't think we know enough to say that the Celestial Dragons are anything other than normal human beings with possibly some form of ancient knowledge/tech/power at their disposal.

Well we do know that the countries that formed the WG were at war with a great country. We know that one of the ancient weapons is hidden in one of the original WG countries along with the means to find it.

Oh god the latest chapter is just to sad, which is ironic given the title being "Smile". I gotta say I totally didn't see things going this route. Didn't expect Law would be eating the Ope Ope no mi just yet, but yea..amazing read this week. One Piece always has the best flashbacks.

Oda paying homage to Naruto on the cover page was just simply amazing. So much intricate details went into it. Naruto/Luffy eating each others favorite foods. Nami wearing a dress with the Konoha leaf's symbol. Even a little Kyuubi in there. And supposedly there was a even slightly hidden message that said "Thanks for all the hard work Naruto" that i didn't notice.
