So I took a break, spammed draft/normals.

Decided to try and play some ranked today as I was getting bored, and went 2-0 so far.
I think I'll call it a day and continue tomorrow.

 

Went on a 8 game win streak to get me into Silver 2, instant 5 game loss streak to put me back in silver 3, now I'm on another 5 game win streak in Silver 2 again. Gold plz. I've climbed from Bronze 3 this season and I want mah skin and shiny border.

 

I'm in promos for Gold Iv.

 

Got my 3rd account to D5 last week. Now I've lost all drive to play and I'm leveling up another... I feel bad about it.

 

I failed.

I tilted.

 

Just got promoted to Gold IV. Probably can't make plat by the end of the season only playing 2-3 games/day, but I can dream.

 

You probably can, except a losing streak I hit on I was climbing fairly steadily (I'm up 20 games or so) for the past few weeks on 2-3 games a day.

 

Been in plat IV for weeks, don't think I'm going to try to get Diamond in this season.

Smurfing and fucking around with bros is way better.

 

RAnked is really pissing me off. I just can't seem to come out ahead, my teams have been filled with people going 0/3+ in lane on useless champions like Heimerdinger and other shit. Like yeah, okay maybe you champ is good in one particular comp, but if the first pick of your team is mordekaiser, your next 2 picks should not be fiddlesticks and Heimerdinger.

Fiddlesticks proceeded to never gank my lane (Which was fine since I was beating the shit out of Ryze all by myself) , and bot lane went essence reaver/tf rush (with cdr boots) on graves.

What the actual fuck. Lost 20 LP in a game that was probably never winnable after 5 minutes in.

 

Played my first (and possibly only) ranked game of the season just now.

You could say we were... Viktorious.

I put on my big boy boots, a giant ass backpack, and carried my goddamn team out of what was going to be a losing game. At one point we were behind 5 to 14 and it was only through the awesome power of The True Evolution that we came back.

My team engaged without me, and it looked like they were losing, but some frenzied retreat pings got them to delay and disengage until I could arrive and unleash my full combo on 3 of 5 members of their grouped up team. That play earned me the first of several double kills and two triple kills.

After that, it was tense for awhile, I had to constantly tell my team what to do. When to retreat, when to push for another objective, when to teamfight and when not to.

Near the end of the game, something fairly awesome happened.

Cait had overextended into the enemy base, and gotten caught. She was being chased by Mao, Voli and Blitz. I tried to save her with a well placed gravity field, but two of them flashed it and she fell to the tanky trio.

After that I was in trouble, because they came right after me next.

Lucky me, Viktor's augmented Q on a stray minion gave me enough speed to stay out of their clutches JUUUSSST long enough for everything to come off CD. The funny thing? They were all grouped up while chasing me. Almost literally on top of each other.

As soon as Voli flipped me, I dropped W > R > E > Q , and 1 v 3'd them, killing Blitz and Voli, and delaying Mao till the rest of my team could arrive. With their tank line dead, Trist and Veigar had no chance of stopping us.

Viktor is now a powerhouse champion. I wouldn't quite say he's OP, but his revised kit fills out some of the major problems he had. Giving him a little mobility, a broader build path, and a hell of a lot of versatility.

 

First ranked pentakill last night. Felt good.
