No it's not SilverAegis's story or any of the continuations by other people that I could find, though the very basics of the plot are about the same.

In the one I'm looking for Harry was actively cruel to him family, having injured his sister in the past and was planning on killing at least some of them with poison or a potion he had.

Then suddenly he is ether swapped out for cannon Harry or gains memories of his life and the new Harry who never had a family and always wanted one finds himself with a family who thinks he hates them and are distrustful of everything he does.

I remember a scene where Harry gives some knives back to Sirius and apologises for stealing them. Then a bit later Sirius gives them to him as ether a birthday or Christmas present saying that by giving them back Harry had proved that he really had changed.

Harry was also in love with one of his sisters, I think.

Hello. I'm looking for a link to a story called Post Mortem with a Harry that practices Necromancy. It's supposed to okay even though it's a slash story.

It was put up in the Almost Recommended thread. But i can't get the link to work to anything but the front page of livejournal.

The description piqued my curiosity so I searched for it a bit. I managed to find only chapters one, two and four, unfortunately - the others were unavailable. I also messaged the author about it, so let's see if he/she will have anything to say about it.

Edit: Having now read the first two chapters, I have to say I'm intrigued. Pretty well written and interesting stuff. Let's hope the author responds.

Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I couldn't access the story. When I click on the link I get to a page where all the chapters are listed, when I click on one chapter a new pages opens telling me that I need to log in, I created an account (free test trial or something like that) and now I'm told I need sharing control. Does it work for you? Does anybody know what I could do differently?

 

Nothing, I believe. I'm guessing the author uploaded at that site [something to do with calendars?] and had the story available to all. At some point he probably changed the settings so it can only be viewed by another account only if he gives permission. Or he uses it as online backup. Or whatever.

 

Oh, that's irritating. I should still have the PDFs at home; I'll see if I can't find them in a few hours.

 

I found the author's tumblr and archiveofourown account. The author said in a tumblr post in July that she'll come back to the Post Mortem series, so I assume it'll be posted to AO3 at that time.

I really wish that fic was in a public place, though, it's definitely her best work. :/

Also, how bad can the Percy Jackson Fandom be? Compared to HP Fandom (or the original Greek myths, for that matter), it seems pretty hard for it to be that bad.
