Oh god. The names. The new names are cringe-worthy.

New generation? You can literally see who their parents are. Literally fusions of their parents. The only exception being Sasuke's kid. It's kinda creepy.

Naruto made Hokage though - good.

The new technology makes no sense. Now we're suddenly into laptops and skyscrapers?

 

Gotta say, I hated the kids but a fair few of the original characters looked amazing. Sasuke and Chouji were my favorites.

That said, why do I get the feeling that the majority of the Rookie 9 are all what used to be Kage level?

Yeah everyone loves awful epilogues that serve no real purpose.

Though, as bad as Bolt is at least he didn't name his kid Toad Darkness Swirly Uzumaki or some other weird mix of people he knew.

So in the end Saukura/Sasuke actually happened. That's disgusting.

It was an okay epilogue I guess ? I've seen worse endings. It would have been interesting to learn about the actual state of the ninja world.

 

To be fair, Naruto's hair style suits him much more than I expected.

 

Lol. Out of all the shit characters are doing...Sakura is dusting the house in a maid apron. Just lol.

General consensus I'm seeing is that everyone thinks the epilogue was crap. Anyone running into other opinions with any frequency?

As asshurt as I am about SasuSaku, the fucking dramatics and shit at NaruSaku.com is incredible.

 

The epilogue was fine, really(ignoring Sasuke's resolution). It's just that the Naruto fandom is so hellbent on OTPs that a good percentage of them would get mad, either way.

 

Eh. I don't like the tone he chose or the way it was presented. I think he was trying to cram everything into too small a space.

Its likely, but unconfirmed. It looks a hell of a lot like Sasuke is still traveling from 699 and there are no implications beyond the dark hair its his.

I'm not saying that Sasuke NTR'd Sakura with Karin, who died in childbirth, and then left her to take care of someone else's kid. But can you ever be sure with Sasuke?

Memo to myself: Never write an epilogue.

Edit: Holy shit, it's over. Okay, the epilogue sucked big time, it really went full Rowling, pairing everyone and their dog up. A few new character models were good, a few not so much. Most pairings were crap. Lol to Tsunade and Shizune keeping the secret to eternal youth to themselves as they are the only characters who have not aged. Not quite sure why the Mizukage retired.

Having laptops seems odd, then again, they've had monitors and stuff at the hospital way back in part 1, so who the fuck knows what the technological level exactly is there.

So, in the end, what was Naruto's answer? You know, the answer he couldn't give to Pain or Sasuke about how to solve this war/conflict/ninja way problem. Not quite sure what his solution ultimately was.

 

As much as I disliked this epilogue it was still better then HP. At least Hinata told Naruto that she loved him before the end of the story. Ginny hadn't even done that.
I really liked B's look, it seems that Sasuke knocked up Sakura just before taking off. I hated the fact that the end of the war was just glossed over, where the hell was Lee, and was that Ayame who was supposed to be Kiba's girlfriend?
