So, with Naruto officially complete, have there been any decent new fics popping up?

 

None that I've seen so far. I'm also hoping to see some new time travel fics that involve Naruto and or Sasuke from the epilogue.

 

Give it a few days for some to come up. A few months if you want decent ones.

Probably the best Naruto/One Piece fic I've read. The author can write well enough not to make you want to quit. You're not being overloaded with anime style visual gags such as sweat drops and people randomly falling over. Shanks and Naruto tend to be a bit childish, but I think it fits Shanks' character to be immature when he's having fun and knows when it's time to be serious. Short chapters, but a decent update rate.

 

It's a good time waster, but seriously? The best? Not even close, mate. It barely scrapes a 2.5/5

Whoring aside, there've been a couple good ones, such as Shinobi of the High Seas and Naruto the Marine. All of them have been mentioned on DLP several times.

The two mentioned above are not amazing but they are good, which is the best this fandom can produce, apparently.

Edit: almost forgot. There is this fic, in which Marco basically trolls the shit out of Sakura (before the story turns shitty).

 

With Written in Reverse, I've been reminded how much I like fem!Sasuke. Other than the obvious choice of Reload, are there any others worth reading?

Kenichi's Naruto one isn't too bad, but honestly, Naruto The Marine suffers from A) not being all that far along plot wise, and B) Being Abandoned. At least Shinobi of The High Seas is still going.

Really, One Piece as a whole is a fandom that needs better quality fics. Maybe one day, I'll write my own Naruto/OP fic.

 

Kenchi writes readable stuff, it's up for debate how good the story is, but he can write well enough that you're not sitting there wondering what's going on, like I am with a decent chunk of the stuff I've read recently.

Can anyone suggest any recent NaruIno or NaruTemari fics? I've read most of the classics over the last week, (Never cut Twice has aged rather well all things considered), but i'd like something newer, even if the first 30 odd pages of the Naruto section didn't offer anything that looked all that good from what I could see.
