Didn't really expect going in that the Irish would turn out to be the main antagonists of this season, but that appears to be how things are shaping up.

 

Resurrection. Anyone see that last episode? Holy shit that was amazing.

So...yeah, last season of this is well underway and Holy Fuck. Next week needs to be here like, right now. So hyped.

Kind of annoyed they didn't check Bobby for a gun, since it was the first thing I thought of.

I guess I had the clue about the broken jaw, but still.

 

I really didn't think he was going to go through with it.

 

I thought for sure Jax was going to somehow get Gemma to do it herself. I mean, Gemma seemed to want it more than he did by the end there.

Also, poor Unser. Though I did laugh at the way Gemma just about disregarded his death, as if he didn't even matter. When he was standing with her throughout the whole damn series.

 

Same. I was thinking for sure she was going to suicide to spare Jax from having to gun down his mother. Especially when he couldn't make himself do it the first time he had the gun trained on her. I suppose she believed that it was his right alone to pass sentence on her.

I also feel for Unser. Unrequited love is a bitch. But in the end, it probably would have been even worse for him to have had to live past that. He certainly thought so, and Jax really did try to let him walk away.

 

One of the greatest series finale's I can remember.

 

Yeah, I agree. Going to miss this show something terrible, but I can't think of any possible better way to end things.
