For real though. I keep reading this over and over, and it fails to make any sense at all every single time.

Rubicon, as much as the idea of you sheeping my reads makes me want to hide forever in the best of ways, how about sharing yours instead? Unless you did already and I completely missed them.

I am 100% vulnerable to being buddied/sweet-talked and I'd at least like to only be somewhat duped instead of completely and totally, if you turn out to be scum.

...fucking hell you piss me off. I'm unnaturally focused on you because you keep ignoring me at every oppurtunity.

But I'm not going to get a response. So I'm just going to ignore you for the rest of today, and we'll come back later when I have more time.

In the morning I'll have time to do a proper analysis. Quick thoughts though, I don't like either of the main wagons, with Quank reading too much like a trolling towny ready to be shot and Sloth, despite lack of activity seeming to be genuinely trying when he's here. Of the two, though, I'd go for Quank, as he reads a bit more scummy and I don't see any improvement likely.

To whoever asked about me and a no-lynch - no way. I'm still rearing from the idea that you guys end up with a no-lynch unless we can hammer someone in time, so I'd go for pretty well anyone dead before that. Even me, actually, though that's emotion and lack of sleep talking rather then good play.

Ignoring you? Of course not, I keep answering what I think its relevancy and ignoring what seems baseless innuendo aka stuff that you yourself dont feel bears repeating.

Sloth, wow are you trying to buddy me or something? Like, when Riley said that it was obviously because he's skewed but I haven't even reached mediocore yet.

Quanksor, at least explain regarding your user name tho for real bc its a mystery and its making me antsy.

I hate RL mentions, hate them hate them hate them oh no my qt will have to come with a censorship warning or maybe twit was the word i meant i guess we wont know until we know.

Rubicon, I was gone for less than 24 hours, a significant part of which I spent asleep. :D
I picked random combinations of syllables that I liked until I found a set with very few hits on google.

So, here are my thoughts on the situation:
I will claim, to avoid town wasting a lynch, but first I would like some discussion on whether it is actually beneficial for town to force me to claim.

If I am not Nightwing, the Riddler will almost certainly fail their first guess tonight, and if I am Nightwing, town will still receive confirmation of my death.

If, by chance, somebody else was Nightwing, and they targeted me, and the Riddler bounced their kill attempt off of me, they would know who the Riddler was. (Or, at the very least they would know who had targeted me, and could work back from there)

Anyways, as of right now we have 52 hours left.
I will claim if the thread wants me to, but we had better discuss it quickly.

I keep using feminine pronouns because every time I see his ava I think Saber, who is female. The entire time I've been on this board I've assumed he was female, until this game when I actually checked. I may make this mistake a few times.

What exactly does the a team 'revolving' around Nemrut mean?

@Rubicon: At first I didn't wanna lynch Fishy because he was funny. Then, he posted something not so funny, but then something funny again. So I'm withholding judgement until his true level of humor is revealed.

Also that scum line was super worrying and never ever say things like that again. :colbert:

@Riley: I really want to see your response to Lyrium's question.

@Mala: Here at DLP, everyone gets a QT typically. Some mods don't do that but 3/4 of my non-filler games had QT's for all. Also, don't be too shy to townfirm me, I don't bite.

@Quanksor: How about instead of the thread wasting time arguing about you claiming, you make all that discussion irrelevant by actually playing the game to a degree that allows everyone to make a better decision on you than, scum unless Nightwing? Could you please pretend to be invested in the game? Or explain why you aren't.

@All: I'm worried about literally everyone who posted after Mala. Unless it's a problem on my end, none of her hyperlinks work: they either go nowhere or to irrelevant posts in random threads. No one else has pointed this out or answered the easy site meta question in the same post. Did you guys really read her post? Be honest.

I think you should probably claim if you're going to be lynched regardless. If you're town, then they'll be no counterclaim and so we can choose another lynch - sure you die anyway to riddler, but at least we get to kill off someone else. If there's a counterclaim then we get to kill a scum for sure - either today or tomorrow.
This flies out the window if you have a powerful role. But I think for most of them it's worth it - basically I makes any option safer, either ensuring we catch a scum if at the cost of another villager, or giving us another chance at the lynch even if you die anyway.
    That's just MO though.

I play any game in the way I feel like playing it. If you don't like it, you can always lynch me off. I mean, this is hardly the first time I've told you that.
Plus, just because you're not seeing my...endgame (=D) doesn't mean it's not there.

Why do we keep coming back to this? That was Lyrium throwing a self-deluded tantrum and bitching about RL, like she does every game regardless of how often she's shown to be wrong about it.
I may be biased here, but I'm not seeing the importance of that whole thing, nor how it influences any reads in this game - so why are you asking about it? The only gain I see is stirring it up again.

You can say that it was about my reads on the players, but that is a bloody round-about way to ask for them, especially when there was nothing stopping you from flat out saying "Sloth, give me reads on Lyrium and Ter."

About those, btw, TerRaine's constantly engaging other players with transparently-helpful questions, giving clear reasonings and hounding her reads. I mean, it's D1, too early to call it, but I'm comfortable leaving her wander around and keeping an eye on her for now. I'd like to hear of those that find her scummy and why.

Lyrium asks lots of relevant questions but consistently doesn't answer most of them. She consistently skews things to fit her views despite repeatedly pointed out how she read wrong, while telling others to read right. And she reacts with hostility and immaturity whenever she's confronted by anything and anyone.
All of which are town-Lyrium traits.
I guess there's just something about the shit she's spewing that's striking me as off. I might be being biased, of course, but she's...playing this one strangely. The level of hypocrisy is frankly boggling.
I don't know if she's scum, but I might call her Riddler.

Speaking of not answering questions...I'll get to that in a second.

    VOTE RUBICON

I'll go into more detail into the last 3 later - though cliffnotes is that I'm still in the Riley's Town wagon, if you're asking.
I think Snow and Fluff might be scummates.

    Gonna go get lunch. BRB.

    I think...it might be time to begin Riley's 21 questions. Round 2.

    But I'm not sure yet.

Eh, this is a non-answer. You're not trying to argue with the main point, that you're focusing on weird things and not moving the conversation in a productive direction. You can handwave and say 'just because you're not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there' but frankly, it probably means exactly that in this case. Or that your endgame is to shift the conversation in a pro-scum direction.

    - because you do
    - because you're stirring up drama with Lyrium (and Citrus, and others) at a point when the drama has mostly been settled and is better left alone
    - because you're focusing on bitching at Lyrium instead of actual scumhunting, and I think you're doing so because focusing on that sort of thing is an easy substitute for scumhunting

That's because I'm less interested in your specific reads and more interested in why you're posting what you are.

So to sum up, most of your wall is just you arguing with people you don't really scum read. Okay.

I'll take the potato chip... and eat it.

Sounds exciting. Any other townies you think we should mislynch?

I notice no mention of Lyrium, who was actually one of the most active players at the time. Any reason?
And Snow you only mentioned off-handedly.

---------- Post automerged at 01:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:54 PM ----------

Then vote for me and shut up.
Seriously you come at me complaining about bitching, yet you spend this whole post bitching ineffectually about my bitching ineffectually. 'The fuck outta here.

The Citrus stuff was redirected at him and others in general, though I admit I was cranky at the time. But again, it's not a threat, it's a suggestion. If you don't believe that, then you don't get how I act. I'm not a 5 year old.

You're being stupid. This is not a 2-party game.

At this point you're not even saying there's a chance I'm Town and you want to get that out of me, you're just saying I'm scum. Why the hell is your vote somewhere else?

Let's talk about fluff and you. Why do you two keep off-handedly mentioning each other?
He slots you as Town but when asked to back it up, can't and says 'whoops, my QT is screwing with my head.' And now he goes out of his way saying you're definitely definitely not a townread for him, like a scum caught, backtracking and trying to distance.
Same with you, wanting to shoot him over that offhand comment several posts later and now liking him as Town, sort of or maybe not.
It's like you're trading reads on each other, and it reeks of a connection between the two of you.

Actually, I'm pointing out how you aren't doing anything relevant, which. Is different from your normal play. You're just arguing with people about things that aren't doing anything for the game itself. Not only that, but you're trying to argue that that isn't what you're doing.

"I'll play how I'm going to play and if you don't like it, have my slot brutally murdered so that my team loses a member for no actual reason."

threat: a statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage [specifically, to your team], or other hostile action on someone in retribution for something done or not done

    Threat detected. Moving on.

    Mmkay.

You're right, Sloth. Why don't I just vote all of my scumreads at the same time?

If you think we're scumbuddies, "why the hell is your vote on someone else?"

For real though. When the thread hit 17 pages, I decided to completely scrap my reads and start over because I wasn't feeling confident in any of them besides maybe two. After I went through the thread again, I saw some pretty genuine posts by him that I thought warranted a light townread.

Why are you asking me questions about something fluffy did? Go talk to him.

    ---------- Post automerged at 15:24 ---------- Previous post was at 15:18 ----------

Well, you sort of did, but they're all spread out. 273 has the most -- Lyrium, TerRaine, the Schrodinger slot, Nemrut, Fishy Justice, and Quanksor. And half of them you had as null, so.

Snow come on don't twist words. You KNOW you're taking that out of context.

He's not saying it to be threatening or spiteful he's saying this is how he can play with the time he's allotted. If that's unacceptable? Then he gets if we want to mod kill him.

---------- Post automerged at 03:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:40 PM ----------

I'm...not sure what you want me to do about that honestly.
Look, it's simple: If I see someone as scum, I'm not going to keep pressuring to see them as Town. I'll ask them questions if I see fit, and if I don't, I don't.
I'm more focused on the ones I see as town, in case a scum snuck in.
It...honestly doesn't feel like neither an outlandish or a particularly difficult concept.

Anyway, back, catching up before my next patient.
