Check the mafia roles. There's one that can hide the role info by devouring the corpse. At least I remember it that way. Will come back in an hour on a computer and parse it out.

Sloth if you were doing what I think you were doing then idk bad sloth.

So I'm really tired, but I wanted to answer Sloth's and Ter's question on why I'm voting Sloth now, since I might not wake up before the deadline.

I don't like Sloth for several reasons:

I disagree with his technique of pressuring his town reads instead of his scum reads. After all, if you think someone is scum, shouldn't you be pressuring them and getting them to answer questions and interact with people to see how they interact with those people?

I can easily see a team with Quank and Sloth (for example, when Sloth says that we would be mislynching Quank in post 579). I also don't like Ter's insistence on us not lynching Sloth.

Ter: Why should we not lynch Sloth?

Once he started participating, he mostly talks to Lyrium, Snow, Ter, Rubicon, and occasionally Math, basically ignoring everyone else.

As to why I'm voting Sloth over Quank: I think both of them are scum, so I would vote either of them. I just decided to go with Sloth.

Now, good night. Hopefully I'll weke up before deadine.

I still find his claim of that weird as hell, but is that really what he's been doing? He's interacted a lot with Lyrium/Rubicon - players he sees as scum, and wants to drive us towards - in what I think is a positive way.

Is that your only tell on him.

Why did you decide to go with Sloth? Do you think he's more likely to be scum when Quank is not then vice versa, or what?
Would you hammer either, if it looked likely to come to a no-lynch?

Personally I'd like to see more of sloth. There are suspicious things he has done but I feel Quank has been scummier and contributed less to town.

I would rather give Sloth one more day to prove himself since the past day or so he's been present and actually pressing his reads even if I dont agree with some of them.

If he's town? Huzzah for us we didn't mislynch. If he's NOT and he's scum. Well he talks more than Quank...who says NOTHING. So there's more a chance at finding things out. There's more to read which can lead us to the rest of the team

    ...Oh right.

I like to imagine that if I were coaching Quanksor, he would have played this a little better. :p

I think what you may be missing is that Sloth is actually a better scum player than me.

---------- Post automerged at 10:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:01 PM ----------

What do you think of my reasons for suspecting him?

I keep wanting to paraphrase fontisian and say Quanksor is small game, Sloth is a more immediate threat.

If Quanksor is scum, what are the odds that he won't be lynched by the end of the game?

I might have to start buying votes like in CYS soon, haha.

The odds are very good. You're missing the entire second part of that post.

Quank is not going to be useful to us if he is scum and he lives. He is going to just clam up and we won't get anywhere with him.

    Sloth. Talks.

---------- Post automerged at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:05 AM ----------

Phrased that wrong. I mean the odds are good he will be lynched if he is scum by endgame

Yeah, but Sloth is probably the brains of the scum team, and leaving him alive to coordinate night kills, identify important power roles, and so on is actually a big deal.

    From the OP:

    "Killer Croc
-Three times per game, Killer Croc can choose to Devour a player his faction targeted that night. That player’s role is not revealed during the day (though Killer Croc does learn the role)"

    Combined with:

    "Clayface
-Three times per game, Clayface can choose a role that has already been Committed or Assaulted. He gains that role’s ability for that Night. Roles that can’t be chosen are Batman, Robin. Roles can only be chosen once."

And scum can mess with us a lot since Croc devours the corpse, it knows the role and shares with mafia, clayface can take on that roles ability to get a townfirm since if its claims and no one else does then it sort of gets townfirmed and then they can lie their way through some stuff and manipulate town.

I'm not comfortable leaving a strong scum player alive for information. And I don't really trust any information about pairings I'd get from Sloth's posts.

ok so he's the brains you think. If he's scum with as good of a scum player he is you dont think he doesn't have the NK's planned yet for his team?

The difference between lynching D1 or D2 in this case is immaterial to me in this context.

You want the talker to keep talking.

I also see SLoth as a bigger threat and also he talked while almost lynched, he was sort of not here before then...what's to keep him talking? I mean he could talk his way out of a bag like he did in Werewolf 2 and he's self voted\hammered as scum and as town.

FInally, Quiggly puff he doesn't see me as scum. He very particularly see's me as third party and seems to be trying to role fish me Snow and Rubicon for obvious reasons.

TerRaine, respond to the questions about Croc\Clayface and also on a scale of 1 to 10 - how useful are you to town?

TerRaine, basically I see no reason for you to want to keep him in the game as town. Not one good reason but a lot of "hey he might be scum but lets just keep him in the game longer because the other ones a noob"

The clayface Croc scenario IS an interesting dilemma that I don't think we need to worry about N1.

The commit/devouring won't go through as I understand it until D2 start. There are protective roles in the game so that devouring wont be official until day start making Clay have to wait to claim the role til N2.

The longer he's in the game, the more he can plan. Leaving him to tomorrow is another NK he can plan.

No, I do not. Quite the opposite, in fact.

This sounds like you're searching for reasons to keep him alive.

Sorry guys. I meant to catch up the rest of the way, but thursday I kinda slept in and decided to be lazy and today I wanted to catch up with some of my good friends, but I will get to this ASAP.

I pretty much don't know anyone here besides Grib & Math so any meta arguments are useless I'm linked to a game and can read them, but might not do me good because I have a bad sense at trying to compare meta with players whom I'm not familiar with.
