Are there any really good Harry/Astoria or Harry/Angelina stories out there? I've already read "Lessons" with the Harry/Angelina pairing. I just cant really seem to find any good Harry/Astoria stories.

 

Well, there was 'Out of the Night' by Blueowl (I think), but the author took the story down, and it was adopted by someone else. It was on its way to a Harry/Astoria. Literally the only good story with the pairing that I can think of.

HallowRook, if that's the best story you can think of with Harry/Astoria, you've never read Incorruptible. Matt Silver (a DLPer) wrote it, and it has it all: politics, zombies, romance, awesome!Ron, suspense, etc. It's a really, really, really good fic, and I highly recommend it.

The author is Raining Ink, whoops. Here's the DLP thread for Out of the Night. The download for the story in the OP. But there's really not as much Harry/Astoria interaction as you'd probably like. What makes it interesting is the world building.

What's the name of that one time-travel fic where Harry ends up being partners with Rosmerta in owning the Three Broomsticks Inn? I vaguely recall Bellatrix appears as well, in some sort of dueling competition.

Huh, I forgot that had an eventual pairing of Harry/Bellatrix.

 

I sort of lost interest in it when that was popped up: there are literally no decent Rosmerta/Harry out there.

 

It was set up so perfectly for it too. There's a dearth of good Bellatrix/Harry fics (hell, of good time travel fics in general), so I was even more annoyed when it was abandoned not long after.

 

Anyone get any good time-travel stories where Harry goes back to the Marauders era as an adult? Whether he becomes a professor, or just does random shenanigans or whatever.

Is there a story, where Harry, in the 1st task of the Triwizard Tournament, kills the dragon (I know "Princess of the Blacks" by Silently Watches)?

 

Seventh Horcrux has that. Kind of a crack!fic, but it's pretty enjoyable. The dragon killing is a really small part of the story, so I linked to chapter 7 where it happens. (And if you want to read the completed fic, it's up on Space Battles)
