@Von, you just asked the queen of tunnelling if she thinks tunnelling is a scum indicator.

To be serious about your question, tunnelling is an indicator for Lyrium but not really for Math. (Math my issue is a total lack of depth to her tunnel and severe OMGUS).

    OoG?

As for leaving crumbs all of the place, that's ok. Crumbs are decent for fooling the Riddler. That's why I'm looking at behavior.

For instance, Croc not acting is because s/he was blocked if the role is played optimally.

If a player just blocked a scum slot, they would be tunnelling. This strongly suggests that Lyrium or Quank is scum. (Those were the only two with people getting attacked at the start of the day strongly and consistently). A bus driver MAY have interfered, but I find it unlikely as such.

Second, after I highlight this, Lyrium is acting like the world is over and she's lost. Indicative of boned scum.

Nope, if I were scum I wouldn't be doing that. I've evolved a bit since then, I wouldn't mess things for my teammates.

Rubicon, I'm still looking. Is there a particular read you want? There kind of spread about.

Yes, exactly, that makes it hard for me to track down all of them as well. Could you summarize all of them for me?

OoG = out of game. I admit, I've been skimming Lyrium's and TerRaine's posts about one another because at this point it seems like it's all fueled by the D1 bump. Which is why I asked TerRaine for a specific post regarding her Lyrium read.

The whole "Croc was blocked" thing seems like something that needs to happen consistently before you can really be sure. One Night ust isn't enough for how certain you are about it.

Titus, my scum read is on most people's town read list and I'm trying to adjust.

I thought you were doing X but your logic since then has been to try to get MB lynched (was she in B&T, I'm pretty sure you got her killed in some game..it could have been IRC) so I am suspicious of that.

I don't have a specific person in mind. If you absolutely insist, I guess I can just start asking you about each player in order until we get through the whole player list, haha, but it would be easier to just list them all now.

It's okay if you're not confident. I'm not asking you to lock your answers in for the rest of the game, just tell me what you're thinking.

And yeah, don't worry about whether other people agree with you either.

It is for me because I believe that all players act optimally and not acting is suboptimal. I'm going to understand that all players don't view the board the same as me, so it's not scummy on it's own to disagree with me. It is certain enough because of how confident I am in how the roles should be played. A player who thinks (suboptimally) croc would hold would disagree with the analysis.

It's not my entire case, but it does flow from the behavior. For instance, if everyone was changing their votes willy nilly, I would have no lead on who could possibly be Croc as such, I would know players were playing suboptimally.

That being said, Math's rabid defense of Lyrium without substantive reasons plus her shouting I'm scum when Lyrium's trying to avoid pissing anyone off (from my perspective), sends neon flags that she is scum. Then her knowledge that Croc failed to use his ability is telling.

Even if you suppose arguendo, that I'm wrong on Croc, then Lyrium and Zenazo both assuming Croc failed to activate is damning.

    What is the D1 bump?

I have a question. Maybe I've missed it. What is the advantage of Croc waiting til later in the game to use this ability?

No Brass Tax was it, but I actually thought she was scum that game. I didn't have the actual scum until the last day. Then I had to convince Riley to vote Blab, I never thought it would work. Then again Riley, if town, was pretty much a serial killer detector served both functions well.

---------- Post automerged at 05:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:27 PM ----------

There isn't one from my perspective. Hence why my analysis assuming Croc was blocked.

There's zero guarantee that Croc will be alive even the next day so why not give your buddies a fake claim if you are going down?

Ter, I don't think there is one.

Although Titus, your assumption that players act optimally is questionable.

---------- Post automerged at 05:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:28 PM ----------

I wonder if scum players can submit actions for each other, if one is absent.

I've never seen where scum players did NOT have that ability Rubicon. As such, I supposed it to be true.

Rubicon, in some instances yes. If you're talking about picking the best player to kill or roleblock or XYZ as scum, I agree. To try, absolutely not. If it's readily apparent that the team should TRY to get Croc off over no Crocing, then supposing such an attempt is pretty good.

    Okay:

Riley - hasn't posted much since day one. Still waiting on what the 20 questions thing was.
Malakittens - another person who hasn't posted a lot and is lurker. I'm of the belief that at least one replace is def. scum but not sure since Aekiel answered mechanics questions which were Plus but also had a weird interaction with Quanksor.
Citrus - suspicious to me due to the fact that he hasn't scum hunted or seems to be too calm or something
TerRaine - adamantaly refuses to enage with me unless its about me. Something is wrong there. Ignores my attemps to see her scum hunt someone else. Ignored my attemps to see if she has even a small doubt to my alilgnment. Therefore is either scum or worse.
Qgq - Doesn't have strong reads on anyone, early in the game was commenting without having read carefully which pinged me as off
Rubicon - Could be either Town or Not Town, not sure. Also I did ask you to link to a scum game you were proud of early on.
Nemrut\House\Titus - I didn't suspect Nemrut but he barely posted, House replaced out and his vote on Sloth\posting at night made it seem like he was really frustrated. Titus is trying to make sense and that scares me.
Atum - hasn't posted a lot but has briefly stated due to RL and then move the game forward. Really just needs to be poked more.
His fluffiness - Something he did early on made me think town. But later on the game play has been more uneven. Also is new and seems to sheep a bit.
Quanksor - Pulled the dissapearing trick and therefore, seems scummy to me for that.
MathBlade - I thought Schro was more scummy and for MB well I have no scum meta and her silghtly un understandable stuff seems MBish.
Zenzao - Needs to be questioned a bit more but is easy to read if scum or town because its Zen.
Kento - very careful and calm, is new to mafia but plays better than most but again needs to post more.

So a lot of I don't Know because they haven't posted enough to gauge.

    Rubicon is meaning

suppose Adam Brett and Charlie are a scumteam. Charlie gets the flu. Can Adam submit a message for Charlie to make Charlie do his role?

The answer to that is nearly universally yes. I've always seen it like that and I have about 10-15 scum games under my belt. In fact, Penguin explicitly has it in his setup I believe.

Like if the Killer Croc player disappears during the night, and isn't online to submit his action, can one of the other scum submit the action for him. Probably.
